    Great service. I was able to get an appointment and get my dog in to get her rabies shot. They are extremely friendly and helpful.

    The people here are very kind and there are lots of great animals looking for homes! They also do a lot of animal related programs.

We are sorry folks, but due to the recent rise in COVID cases in our region, effective today, January 1, 2022, Monadnock Humane Society will no longer be open to the public for visiting animals or walk-in adoptions. Until further notice, we will be offering adoptions by appointment ONLY. If you are interested in setting up a “Meet and Greet” with an adoptable animal, please contact us at 603.354.4004. The MHS Mission is to strengthen the animal-human bond by promoting and providing for the well-being of animals.
