To start, I'm always greeted with several friendly 'hellos' when I walk into Monadnock Harley. From the person working the cashier, to the salespeople, parts and service. Everyone is always personable and inviting.
As many know, the Pan Am is Harley's venture into the adventure bike world with the '21 being the first year model. As with any new model, it's expected that there are going to be kinks to work out. Of which I think Harley has been hard at work to continue to resolve the various problems with update releases and bulletins to keep their dealers informed. But overall, what a beautiful piece of machinery!
Recently, I purchased a '21 Pan America with less than 1,200 miles from a private sale with battery/starting issues right out of the gate. And Monadnock Harley was the right place to bring it!
I've read horror stories of other dealerships with lack of interest, response, knowledge (to be fair, it's a learning experience for everyone, least of all the mechanics), or helpfulness. Not so with Monadnock! One mechanic owns his own Pan Am and seems determined, almost excited even, about figuring out a new challenge and everyone I talked to seems to have a solid working understanding of the bike.
It was soon discovered that another Dealership in NY had replaced the battery several times for the previous owner so Monadnock didn't simply replace the battery and send me on my way. They were very thorough, even calling HD HQ to talk it all through with an onsite mechanic. They spent A LOT of time determining the issue, replaced a few parts, and executed all the necessary upgrades. And even though the bike is not under warranty, unfortunately, I feel like they didn't charge for a few of the hours spent further educated themselves and figuring it all out (not to mention their hourly rate continues to be some of the lowest I see for a HD Dealership).
Have had my bike back for a couple of days now and it starts right up and the voltage hangs out at 14.0-14.1 as it should!

Excellent, locally-owned Harley shop for sales, parts, and service. Always straightforward dealings with no circus environment. Nice to see the same faces every time you walk in. Only dealer I will purchase from.

No hassle or pressure when looking at the bikes in the showroom by any sales representatives. Jason and George were very helpful and courteous. It was a great experience buying from them.

Very nice employees. Typical high Harley prices. 10% military discount on parts and clothing. Glad there is a dealer in the Monadnock region.
