ZERO STARS. Without informing me, Amerigas unhooked my gas line and left me without heat for a month, so I switched suppliers. Amerigas removed their tank from my property but has not reimbursed me for the 60% FULL tank that I had already paid for. Feel free to call any one of the 5 different numbers that will put you in an endless loop of automated responses and being put on hold. Absolutely inexcusable way to run a business. Do not give a single penny to this company, there are much better options in the Keene/Cheshire County area. I am currently OWED $1000 in reimbursement from the propane that they have (literally) stolen from me.
EDIT: After being on hold for 35 minutes, I finally got a representative that hung up on me after 5 minutes. This is not a joke. I told her the reason for me calling, she said she will take a minute to review the information on the file, and then the line went dead as she hung up.

Wanted to schedule service for a new gas stove to be hooked up, could not understand the Indian call center, I thought I was calling my local number but kept getting redirected to PA phone numbers, after a week with no call back we called again and the same Indian woman said we would do a follow up and proceeded to tell us that we need a technician to hook up your gas stove. This is the worst customer service and bad communication we have ever had, we have had Keene Gas for over 30 plus years with no problems, since Amerigas bought out the local company it's a disaster and we are done with them. Now we called back the Indian call center to cancel our account and come pick up your tank, we were told it will be $99 fee and $199 to pick up the tank and they couldn't tell me when someone would be able to pick this up. Do not do business with this company.

I called to tell them I smelled gas in my laundry room. After trying to understand the courteous heavily accented gal trying to help me on the other side of the world, I learned that they will now legally have to come and shut off my service —-and do nothing to help me with the leak. They do no service work inside the house. I have to find another contractor who will come do the service and then call AmeriGas back to turn the gas back on. When they can. If they’re in the area. That’s enough. I’m leaving.

Worst experience ever. Tried to call local store and every time am directed to India call center. They "attempt" to help and just give another number that directs to same place, but different person. Amerigas customer service is the worst. Never would I recommend them again.

Amerigas charges us a hefty rental tank fee for not meeting propane gallon usage for a calendar year. This usage is impossible
For us to meet even if we tried. I think this is an unfair policy and should be stopped.

I was out of propane so no heat or cooking started november 24I had to use my heat pumps and with awesome unitil my bill for a 900sq ft house was 1250$ in December then proceeded to have 2 more bills over 100o$ spent over 12 hrs on phone with a call center who accomplished nothing and got charged all sorts of extras like emergency charge after two and a half months without propane ?

Took forever trying to get someone on the phone. After giving up turned to their chat feature which is frustrating as well. Shut off my account and was told to expect a call to coordinate tank removal. The call never came but the tank was removed when I wasn’t home and left without a cook stove and a pilot light burning. This company is a disaster! Don’t do business with this company!

I had to fight for Amerigas to do what was right on an inappropriate tank rental. You should have given me a credit for 3 years but agreed to one

I was on automatic delivery and never received a delivery. Which then caused me to run out of propane. Had to go 2 days before I could get a delivery with no heat.

I asked for a delivery on the 31st of December as I noticed my tank was low. The delivery man noticed a small draw on the tank but could not find the source. He locked my tank leaving me without gas for cooking. Amerigas has no technicians to help find or repair a leak. During the holiday it took me 2 weeks to find someone, the problem was glaringly apparent, a nail in the line. After having it repaired it took TEN days for someone to come unlock my gas leaving me THREE week without gas. Not only that when I called to verify the appointment, they had changed the time without notifying me. I looked around to find Suburban Propane is offering gas at over TWO dollars cheaper per gallon. Needless to say, I am will be bidding farewell to Amerigas.

You always take care of my delivery in a timely way. The one time I had a problem (ran out of gas) you came right away.
