I moved to New England 11 years ago and have taken my vehicle to various Monro locations during that time. Up until my last visit, I've always been satisfied with their service. This last time, though, they failed my inspection for an "unrepairable nail in tire" and tried to sell me $1000 worth of tires. I had road hazard on those tires, so I went to the place I bought them from. The nail was only in the tread and had not punctured the inside. I left the other garage with a $0 charge and went back to Monro and passed my inspection. I've since found a local mechanic and won't be returning to Monro.

My car had been scheduled to have tires installed today at 1pm. Upon dropping off I was told it would be about 2 hours. After 3 hours go by we call and are told they will not be getting to my car today, that they only have one tech on staff. I understand being short staffed, however if that is the case work should be scheduled accordingly. If there wasn’t going to be time, please don’t waste my time by saying it’ll be done only for it to not be done. Schedule it for another day so that I’m not sitting around without a car. Fortunately, another garage down the road is going to help us out at the last minute.

Don’t make an appointment online!!!!! This shop is awesome, but their system is a bit wonky. It will let you make an appointment but it won’t show up on their end.

EDIT: though the remainder of the review is true, I raised my star rating as one of the staff members spoke with me about an issue I was having with hazard protection and was honest with me about the tire situation.
First review: The people who used to work in this store were very nice and helped me to understand what my vehicle needed. With Jesse, Jerimiah, and Josh all leaving the facility, the rude and disrespectful people who replaced them were unhelpful and refused to help me when I asked if they could diagnose my vehicle issues because they would not be doing the work. The person I spoke to was arrogant and talked down to me when I suggested doing my own work. All down hill since that Mike guy showed up.
I have a Monro Drive I got it specifically to have major work done our commuter vehicles. Too bad, I used to have a shop I could trust.

Would never recommend this place. Very unprofessional people and not qualified mechanics to be working there. Truthfully I only posted one star because I have to because I wouldn't post any stars for this place doesn't deserve to be in business. There's plenty of other places out there that have qualified mechanics to be working on your vehicle.

they charged me for something I didn’t ask for very deceptive had to call main office to file a complaint. I was charged for a service and part . I did not ask for.Talked to manger Mike about the problem a was told he would look into it never got back to me . had to call customer service number and file a complaint to get a refund. stay away
