This was our first time buying a car from Exeter Subaru. We got a great car and we found everyone to be kind and helpful and the experience went smoothly! The follow up appointment to go over the car and answer any questions was very helpful! Thank you!

Donna is extremely knowledgeable about the computer setup for the car. She was also very patient with all my questions. I would highly recommend using Exeter Subaru for both sales(thank you Ann!) and support.

Exeter Subaru provided an outstanding consultation about the use of technology with my new car. It is a new service that is very valuable.

The people are nice but I'm really not happy with the condition of the vehicle I've purchased. It had substantial issues with it and I don't believe a used car check was done on it all. I've brought it in to be repaired only days after buying. I've had it back for a week now and noticed this morning that it is still leaking oil even though I have already brought it in to repair this issue once, plus, this should've been fixed before selling it to someone else. I'll call Monday to see about another repair.

Not only support at sale but concierge service for maintenance and all the what ifs are in place. It's not just a "sell you a car and see you later"place. Doesn't get any better than this.

Buying was a pleasant experience.
Post delivery instruction w/Donna was most informative. Highly recommend dealership especially since they’re philanthropic to the community.

I really hate the car buying experience and after buying my 8th ( or so I think) car this was no different unfortunately. For context, I am in my early 40s, single professional female who enjoys driving and her cars with excellent credit.
I spent the last couple weeks comparing three different small SUVs in higher level trims. Finally I decided that the 2024 Forester Wilderness was what I was looking for, but of course there arent very many left at this time of year. I had visited three or four different dealerships and after my purchasing experience at this one, I really wish I had purchased my vehicle somewhere else. I found the car I wanted and wanted to see it in person so I called ahead and met with a very direct but professional sales woman named Ann. I pretty much had a good experience working with her and I liked her personality, I also absolutely loved the car. We went back and forth a little bit but nothing too crazy and agreed on the finance terms, monthly payment and price of vehicle along with my trade in price.
I returned the next day to come do the paperwork and take delivery and that's where it went downhill. Once I was in the finance office I certainly felt pressured to purchase extra warranty options, and when I tried to back out Maggie was very pushy and persuasive and kept me talking back to where she wanted it. Less than 48 hours later I am feeling buyers remorse, I'm aware that I paid more than I wanted to and should have, and I financed more than I wanted to therefore coming out with a monthly payment I'm not very comfortable with. After one of the last signatures I expressed a change of heart and wanted to decline the additional warranty coverage but I was told the paperwork had already gone through and she was going to have to redo all of it. I did have to pick up my dog from daycare and I felt uncomfortable and just wanted to get out of there so I let it be. At the end of the day I paid well over what I should have but I guess I deserve it because I got the car I wanted. On the other hand I wouldn't recommend doing business with them, and it's another dealership that leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I really wish car dealing could be a more positive experience. I had been to three other dealerships in the past week and my experiences there had been better but they just didn't have the car I absolutely loved and this dealership did.

My salesperson, Ann was great. She really listened to my needs. I am very happy with her service, the price and my car.
The day I picked up the car was not ideal however. From leaving my house, to going to the dealer, the insurance agent, RMV and back to the dealer, it was 6 hours. No exaggeration. I wouldn’t buy a car from this dealer again unfortunately. They need to step up their game with doing all of that paperwork and making the day you receive your car a much more pleasant experience.

My purchase experience with Mitch was superb. He was professional and courteous and had excellent product knowledge. He did not pressure me and listened to my preferences helping me decide between the Outback and the Forester. I have owned numerous Subarus and I would recommend Exeter Subaru to anyone in the market for a new one!

Long story short. ..Dominic, Maggie, Jimmy, and Ryan were nothing short of amazing. We were stuck in a tough situation, and all of them worked with us to achieve our goal! I worked in the auto industry for many years, so I know how stressful buying a vehicle can be. Especially if you weren't planning on getting a new vehicle. The whole process was super easy, stress free, and they honestly had our wants and needs as their #1 focus the whole process. Thank you so much for taking care of us, and we love our new Forester!

Ann and Maggie literally pulled a miracle and got me into the car I wanted and were so kind while doing it. Definitely recommend this duo if you’re looking for a car and feel anxious navigating the dealership scene.

Changing from 4 stars to 1. Stay clear of this dealership....
I get a different story of what is wrong for the same problem, they don't do what is asked. They recommend work that didn't need to be done, saying my car was "not safe to drive". A different dealership said that was not true only half the repair they recommend needed to be done and was not needed for 6-8 months. Pricing was half of what they quoted for the same work at a different dealership. Items they should have caught when doing work they didn't and now say the problem needs to be fixed, which is a lot more costly. Hold back telling you work needs to be done, so you have to make a return trip, and they can make more money. A lot of turnover seems like techs don't know what they were doing. Another employee talking poorly about someone that just left says they didn't know what they were doing.
