I could not be happier with the pharmacy team here at CVS in Stratham….my prescriptions are always filled right away, they consult you whenever necessary on any new or existing medications, the pharmacist knows me and my medication schedule so well and I trust these guys with any obstacle thrown their way! I am so so happy I left Walgreens in Exeter to come here, night and day difference and made me wonder why I didn’t leave the rudeness and carelessness at Walgreens sooner. THANK YOU EVERYONE AT CVS!

I’ve had trouble with CVS 1 West Rd Stratham saying that I have no credit card on file when I do have one on file. Someone who I had asked to pick up a prescription for me was told that I did not have a card on file. I go on the app and find my card on file under my account. I spoke in person last week to CVS and verified my card but today the same thing. A friend was told I have no card on file.
Update: everything has been cleared up. It was a computer error at CVS and now all works well with my card on file.

Pharmacy staff is not remotely helpful and is quite frankly mean... They have no patience for questions about medications and cannot be bothered to go over anything with you. Incredibly disappointing and extremely unprofessional.

The two employees on staff tonight, a young man and an older gentleman, were both very patient, courteous, and accommodating when my preschooler was for some reason quite anxious about having his passport renewal picture taken. They put up with a lot from us- some tears, extra time, extra shots, you name it- with patience and good humor. Highly recommend these two employees in particular and this store in general.

The pressure put on the staff is really showing. I went to pick up my prescriptions tonight after receiving my text that its the last day to pick up my scripts at one west road. I arrive at 8:40pm and was informed one was put back and someone else bought it. I could come back when they have another in a few days. As I informed them that this was not right. I showed up to get them and the cashier schooled me that I can't show up 20 minutes before closing and expect my scripts to be there. Sorry, I came right after work and expected to pick up MY RX's per the text that was sent to me. Driving 20 minutes each way and with gas prices, this was very rude and inconsiderate. And when i got home to look at my receipt, it was unreadable as their printer ran out of ink.

The pharmacy is rude and unreliable. They literally shut the gate on me when they were going on lunch break despite the fact that I was there before the stated time that they close for lunch. This happened when I had returned to pick up a prescription that had been screwed up the first time I drove in to pick it up. Even after I explained this, they rudely shut the gate and said they make no exceptions. There is no concept that serving a customer who arrives during the stated business hours is not making an exception - especially after your prior mistake required that customer to make a second 25 minute trip to your business. It is doing your job. We are moving our prescriptions and advise anyone else in the area to do likewise.

Can't get through on the phone to anyone during the day; evening workers don't follow through. Keep having delays on refills. They say they'll order from a different manufacturer but they don't. I usually wind up having to get another CVS to provide the refill. This branch is very convenient to my workplace, so having to go 15-20 miles extra is a big inconvenience.

Beware Veterans. Not friendly to vets trying to fill Rx. More interested in going to lunch then to help out. Was outright rude to wife while trying to get an Rx filled. Sent us to another CVS to get assistance. Got the same warm greeting from that pharmacy (Plaistow). These rude individuals were Pharmacists not the window help. Seems to me CVS has a problem with Vets. The end result was my wife had to pay out of pocket.

Waiting for a prescription for days. Called numerous times to see if it was ready as I received a text message saying that they received the order from my doctor. I was on hold for 15 plus minutes for the last 3 days. I finally went in to the pharmacy and while in line 1 person in front of me…all staff were blatantly ignoring the calls coming in. Which was me the last 3 days….when I got to the desk and she said my script was on hold and that I had to call into have it filled. I said yes I understand I tried calling the last 3 days but no one answered. She’s was rude and said yeah we are busy. It’s not hard to answer the phone and just say that. I’m now frustrated because it’s a medication I need to take daily and can’t just be stopped. She said yeah we don’t answer the phone because we are short staffed. Not a good answer. I myself work in healthcare and can understand but her rudeness was unacceptable. I will be transferring pharmacies IMMEDIATELY

CVS in Stratham is greatly improved with the recent remodel! Signs great, lower shelving great. Self checkout easy to use but you can checkout with an employee. Love the new improved CVS!

I am formally a patient that has used Walgreens in my backyard here in Epping for years. Since that store opened, I always receive excellent service. But lately it has been a challenge to get my prescriptions. And a challenge to get my refills without getting an attitude. Recently, one of my prescriptions was unable to be filled and they Told me no one was able to get my prescription as everybody has it on backorder. After several phone calls to local pharmacies, I found CVS to be not only helpful, but was able to fill my prescription and the pharmacist was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with, The kind of professionalism that I not only appreciate, but seems to be hard to find nowadays. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions from Walgreens to this CVS store. Thank you for your help, and I look forward to doing business with you for years to come, Bob Jordan, Epping, New Hampshire
