Market basket has been the way I've got my food since as far back as I can remember they're responsible for just about every pound on my body everybody knows exactly what rocket basket has. what aisles have what, I always get what I need and they've been there for me my entire life when it comes to eating and if you take one look at me you can tell I love to eat

I'm so torn about writing this review because I want to compliment one person and condemn the rest. I fell at the front door two days ago around 6:30 on a wet floor. A wet floor sign was there, but behind the door stopper/gate/whatever, which is taller than the sign and it was completely blocked from view. A customer stopped on her way out and showed concern and asked if I was okay. I was looking in the store at all the cashiers, baggers and customers, all looking back, with not a single person coming to my aid or showing any concern at all. Finally, a petite, blonde girl and a taller, blonde girl came over. The short girl nonchalantly grabbed the sign and put it in front of the door (where it should have been in the first place) and said "Are you alright?" I started crying because I was hurt. The other girl, who doesn't speak English, put out her hands and helped me up. I don't know where the shorter girl went, but she didn't stay, no offer of a seat, file a report, nothing.The taller girl, whose name is Danila, showed concern on her face and asked if I was okay in broken English. I said yes, thanked her, went into the store. I was hurt and crying, looked up to see that nice girl looking at me up the aisle and just had to get out of there. Humiliated, in pain and feeling the disdain from onlookers, left. I went back last night to thank her, bought a slice of gross, old pizza from the rudest guy who ignored me for several minutes. I didn't even want it heated as I live 1/2 hour away, so he only had to box and hand it to me. Disgusted and disappointed. Not sure what to do as I hurt my arm, back and right hip.

Listen up, don't you dare touch that fish from their seafood counter, it's wicked awful. I've been a faithful MB shopper for ages, scooping up seafood week after week. But here's the deal, more than half the seafood I've grabbed has been disgustingly unfresh, and sometimes it's been downright rank. I tried giving em the benefit of the doubt to avoid makin extra trips to other stores, but this is just freakin ridiculous. Just yesterday, I forked over 30 freakin bucks for what they claimed was 'king salmon,' but when I unwrapped it, it stank like a sewer. If anyone from MB is readin this, ya better get your act together cause your rotten fish is gonna make someone seriously shit their brains out.

I tried asking multiple employees where a product was, walking down different aisles and none of them could speak english. That's ridiculous.

There was a time when I was proud to be a Market Basket shopper. I felt like I was getting the best price for my groceries hands down. I loved their prepared foods. I could go there and get a steak and cheese the way I wanted it and the people making the food we're happy and ready to take my order.I'm noticing a big difference now. In some stores, it seems like the employees were running the show with out accountability for their actions. Ignoring me because they don't speak English is became more common.Now, after the pandemic, it seems like the prepared foods area has taken a big hit. It seems like whoever is working that day couldn't give a hoot about doing right by the customer. I was really proud to show my new family that Market Basket makes a great pizza and great subs. The rotisserie chicken is great too but when I go to the Seabrook New Hampshire location to get a pizza, the pizza is usually overcooked. The pizza person usually has a disposition like he can't get wait to get out of work. He doesn't care about the product and it shows. He does not want to be there. There is no pride in his work. It's a shame.Now, my go-to supermarket is Shaw's. I'd rather go to Shaw's and be treated well than go to Market Basket and treated like a I'm just there to annoy them.

I love shopping at Market Basket because it's so clean everyone who works there is super nice and they still have the lowest prices. with that said their lower prices are still so much more expensive than they used to be . Sometimes their fresh fruits aren't as fresh as they could be or sometimes they are unripe.

re:take out I have tried the Japanese nori rolls .vegetable roll, cucumber. Roll ,California roll etcI don't know if it's the wasabi or whatever I keep hoping when I buy it that I'm going to enjoy it so far I haven't and I won't buy it again I learned something ain't right with that roll . and what is with the fried shrimp? Why is the fried shrimp never ever available not everybody eats greasy chicken I want greasy shrimp.

Best prices and selection of quality food. Prices are actually lower than Walmart.the stores are immaculate and well staffed .This is worth the drive..the savings will be immediately apparent
