They are never accepting donations during their posted hours. I have contacted the organization and I am always told they will relay that to the team. I check the website before I head down to see that they aren't temporarily closed. I head down and the donation area is closed off, usually with an employee smoking at the door. If you cannot staff the donation area, condense the hours so what staff you do have can cover it. I don't see how you can exist if you are constantly turning away donations.

I donate there and the staff is always wonderful and helpful. I haven't been inside but the donation center is well organized.

Over priced items. For a thrift store prices should not be as high. The staff when I went in was entertaining themselves on a skateboard. Took 5 mins to be helped as I was the only customer in the store. So unprofessional to be skating in a store that conducts business. Will be calling to report the rude employee

My experience: The manager was awful, she didn't help me at all :(

Prices changed and over past 6 months prices have been raised significantly. Children’s clothing items sometimes higher now than in new retail store. I stopped regularly shopping at this particular Goodwill as as prices seem exploitive since prices have increased. I also donate elsewhere for this reason. That’s not to say you might not find a bargain now and then, but overall prices for used condition items are much too high. I had shopped and donated here for years for children’s clothing, but adult and child clothing is simply too high for the quality of item at this time. Hopefully this GW will reassess their pricing and adjust soon. Disappointing.

The cutie with the headband at the donation drop off made my day discussing the paintings I dropped off. Anyone saying this place is not managed and well-run doesn't know up from down.

This Goodwill location is okay, but not the best. They often are not accepting donations or only certain kinds of items (but you don't know until you get there). Some of the items there are dirty (very dusty, overall not cleaned). You can find some neat items and clothing, but be cautious about it's quality and if it's damaged.

The store is very clean and neat. Unfortunately, they don’t have a large variety of items, and the prices are high.

i was pretty disappointed in the high prices here! the only decently priced stuff would be whatever color tag is on sale of the day. the rest is totally not even worth it imo! i've found stuff at clearance sections of stores for brand new with better pricing! the selection seemed really picked-through. didn't interact w staff.

We rarely stop in this location but did the other day. Glad we did! Found some excellent goodies...the issue was the workers. As soon as we showed up, a worker or manager came out of the back room, no big deal. He then proceeded to follow me around the store. The whole store. Every time I turned, he was there just starring at me. My boyfriend was walking around on the other side of the store and we merged to checkout. I turn my head, the worker is standing behind us, starring us down and watching as we checked out , snickering with another worker. It was random and weird. Needless to say, I think we'll shop in portsmouth for our random thrift days

This location prices are ridiculous!! $4 for a glass and every glasswas priced $4 found so many items with the original store price tag on it and Goodwill price is even higher $6.99 original store price and $10.00 Goodwill pice,. These employees are rude and need to go by the pricing chart and not make up their own prices. People are getting upset and going else where. Also fitting rooms and bathrooms are always closed and when you ask why they say they are understaffed but the managers sit on their phones all day even at the registers or just sit in a chair by the window while someone else is on the register.. Maybe time to rehire nicer employees or retrain these ones about pricing and customer service and what Goodwill is about. Also the manager on duty made me feel threatened and also was in a yelling fight with a customer she wouldn't let in before closing. She was very unprofessional and acted childish it was very scary..

I haven't been to this goodwill for a couple years because I never could find anything. Their clothes really are dwindling down. It seems like they're getting more new products in, so I'm not sure if I'll shop here anymore. Kind of disappointed.

I generally don't like to leave bad reviews. We are all flawed and not everyday is our best day. Three times in as many months I called ahead to confirm donation times and accepted items. All three times I was told my items were acceptable and drop off was open until 4pm. Upon arrival at 2pm. I was told dropoff was closed. Today however I was treated so rudely by the two workers standing by the donation bins. Complaining about customers and swearing at me. In the past I returned to make my donation on another day, but after today I will be donating elsewhere. This is inexcusable behavior even on your worst day. Do better, be better. Truly disappointed.

I've shopped here on and off for years, almost never finding anything of worth, but on occasion finding one or two things. The main issue I have with this location is the pushy old man in the sweater vest and glasses who I've asked numerous times not to touch me or grab things out of my hands. I've had it with this guy and won't be returning. On top of being the slowest cashier in history he talks to you like you're stupid, grabs credit cards out of your hand while you're waiting for the green light on the machine to turn on, throws the credit card back on the counter, and is all around rude. I don't understand how he is always on shift, I'm guessing it's because this location is always bare shelves and overpriced. This one will probably be gone like the derry one who had similar issues with staff and inventory. Just go to Savers in plaiatow instead

Good enough Goodwill. Clean and friendly but the book selection was weak and there wasn’t much furniture as I’m on the hunt for a thin table for my foyer. Shucks.
