Good food! Be prepared as it is communal style (ex: they put everyone's pancakes on one plate and then everyone takes their pancake). Neat atmosphere. Try to avoid rush hour on Saturday or Sunday mornings after 9:30!

We absolutely love Heritage Farm! The people are so welcoming and kind. We love the family-style service and the food tastes comforting and cozy. My children loved the chocolate chip pancakes and chocolate milk. The bacon is my favorite. My kids spent hours playing with the animals on this beautiful autumn day and learned a lot. We highly recommend you patron this restaurant and support a local business and family.

The food was quick and delicious. We got chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes. Bacon was crispy and done just right. High quality ingredients. Also the petting soon was the best I’ve taken my toddler too. There was a very cute calf there along with plenty of other animals.

What…happened? We were here in 2020 and were so impressed by the location, food, and service that we decided to go again with our family of 4 this summer. We came here on a Saturday at around 10:30, which was understandably busy. We were told 30-40 mins, didn’t get seated until 1 hour after arrival and that was after we had checked to see how long of a wait we had left. We were served our drinks but the food didn’t come out for another hour. In total spent 2 hours for mediocre food. There weren’t at least some self serve water stations to help? Luckily the location was still beautiful and it was a nice day out to wait. Unfortunately not worth coming back.

This was our fourth time going there and we love it!! I have seen some negative reviews that it takes so long to get your food or it’s so expensive.. the eggs bacon are fresh the pancakes are made from scratch! Maybe you should go to Denny’s of IHOP and eat garbage! As for my wife and I and our friends that have come with us several times we love it and every time we’re up there it will always be our go to place!!!!

Been here two years in a row. This year (2023) it has become a LOT more expensive and we will not be heading back. Just our breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids under 5 came to over $40. Ordered 2 eggs sunny side up and only found out afterwards it didn’t even come with toast. Ordered white toast and that was $3.50. The playground is an insurance incident waiting to happen—make sure everyone has their tetanus shots prior to arrival. The petting zoo (not much of one to begin with and I’d avoid petting the geese) suddenly sprouted up a “donation” sign which wasn’t there last year. A few chickens and a goat—that just adds insult to injury. The petting zoo would’ve come to $40 if we were to pay that too.The farm has a great atmosphere and view. It’s such a pretty area and has plenty of opportunity. Great bacon. Good pancakes. Bring an electric fly swatter. But they need to bring the prices back down to planet earth. What they’re currently asking for ($3.50 for two pieces of white bread that should come with eggs really???) is absolutely a total shakedown. Especially considering there isn’t any table service. Also, please for the love of all things holy, FIX or better yet replace that “playground.” It’s not suitable for little kids. Jagged metal and plenty of really dangerous drops that could easily send a kids to the hospital or their afterlife. Live free or die, I suppose they don’t care which one.

It's so great they offer vegan/gluten free but the pancakes we had were very sandy. They were also gluten free so I'm not sure if they misheard and did gluten free and vegan or if the vegan option now only comes gluten free. Either way I was disappointed because last year the vegan pancakes were delicious but I couldn't even finish them this time.
No alternative milks for the coffee

It was OK. I thought that one review about the change of ownership was just someone being picky because all of the other reviews were so great. Nope, that review was spot on.This was our first time here so I don't know how it used to be but there is no way all these people are raving about this good. It was OK but far from great. Can't believe that we woke up early for that. It was a lot like going to IHOP. Same breakfast you can get anywhere. There was no line at 7:30 but by 8 there was a huge back up. Glad we didn't have to wait in line for that. The petting zoo is fine as a free bonus but they want to start charging for that and I wouldn't pay for that as it is now.

My girlfriend and I loved it here. The barn has a cozy feel with a few tables on the bottom floor where you order. The second floor is a complete dinning room. The breakfast was great and we would highly recommend!

This was a great place to stop for breakfast to start last weekends trip up north. Everything is made fresh, and there's always "special" flavored pancakes each week. This week's specials were blue banana (blueberry and banana) and white raspberry( white chocolate chips and raspberries), so I figured I'd try one of each. I also got sides of bacon and home fries. The cool thing about this place is it's also a working farm, so some ingredients produced on the farm are used when they cook breakfast. They also have a large barn with all types of farm animals running around that you can check out after you eat. Only open on Friday and Saturday from 7:30-12:30.

Eat pancakes, pet goats and feed chickens. Who could ask for more? Heritage Farm has a unique feel and ambiance to it. In lieu of tips, donations for the up keep for the animals is asked. As a customer, you can walk the grounds and pet the various farm animals. They accept credit card for payment so you can spend your quarters on feed for the farm animals if you so choose. In addition to the animals, they have a peddle piano/giant music box. I apologize as I don’t know the correct name but its an old device and such a quant addition to the place. It was such a fun stop in our day, I would highly encourage others to check it out!

The people are really nice, and they have an atmosphere set up that feels colonial. The playground outside is a really nice touch. The animals and farm are theain attraction. The food was, well, the pancakes were flavored cardboard, overcooked and dry. The bacon was delicious, the eggs were overcooked when asked for medium. There's no servers, you clean you own table after you eat. Go for the experience not the food.

My family and I visit Sanborton often and this is our go to breakfast place. It’s very homey and everything is fresh. lately, the food has been taking an extremely long time even when there’s only one other family here. Also, the owners children sit there trying to play piano obnoxiously while im waiting a half hour for my pancake
