They NEVER have grocery pickup available. They NEVER have enough cashiers or help and they NEVER pick up their phone. Going to try Target....

This continues to be the best Walmart in the area. Yesterday, the associate in the crafting department helped me find exactly what I needed, after I told her what I wanted and she saw that I had the wrong item. They also had my husband's pretzel bites, which other locations don't have right now.

DO NOT USE THEM FOR PROPANE EXCHANGE!!!The guy that works this area is abrasive and just destructive. Tosses the tanks into the cage naming them into other tanks. When you try to ask him a question you get nothing but a condescending answer or nothing at all since he likes to walk away from customers. He is a risk to this store and yourself as I am certain the propane tanks are not 100% empty when you exchange them so tossing them around is not what I would deem as safe. The assistant manager could not follow they there was an issue with this. She also could not understand that when I drove up the guy told me one of the tanks was full. I told him it was not pulling propane so I thought it was empty. Nope, defective. So they took two back; one empty and one full defective but would not refund me the money for one of the tanks.

i personally like target, but when i'm in a rush, i go to walmart! i like walmart, it's pretty busy but yes, i do like it. i feel that in general they should have more employees as well. but again, everyone of course has to go to the bathroom. it's really disgusting to go in public ones i feel, because everyone's germs. especially messy ones. so let's get to the point. i had to go to the bathroom one day, and it was incredibly messy!! toilet paper everywhere, pee all over the bathrooms, very few sinks, and a tiny bit of soap, and last no paper towels!! honestly, who likes that? no one!! so yeah i will be going there again, but no NOT TO THE BATHROOM. it's there fault if i pee my pants. sorry. sorry walmart. see you closing up in a few weeks.

I'm not a Walmart basher they do have decent prices & selections. This place is a nightmare at holiday time, long lines and not enough staff. It's a shame that they cannot compete with Amazon when they have so many physical store locations. Walmart you should use your stores as hubs for deliveries as well as retail locations. Poor execution if you're already doing this. Problems are self-created. Drive into the parking lot of the Salem store and on the right side of the building it says 'pick up'. Common sense says if you buy something online this is where you go get your merchandise. Nope. This is where you go to get your online grocery order. Walmart how much of your business is online grocery pick up in comparison with non-grocery items? I know for me personally when I grocery shop I don't think Walmart. Customer Service is dependent on the person waiting on you. I entered my order at the customer service kiosk and waited..waited..waited. The store greeter saw me waiting and when I asked she wouldn't call anyone to help me. Poor attitude. I had to go wait in the Customer Service line (and wait yet again). They called for help. Reward your Associates for good performance; it will pay you back ten-fold. Your website is nothing like Amazon. The 'feel' of your stores are like walking into a 1970's K-mart.

(Keep in mind that I don't remember if this was the right Wal-Mart.) Went there a few months ago to TRY and get a book, but nobody had even bothered to stock things neatly. Looks like there wasn't enough shelves as books were piled on the shelves. Messy messy shelves very unorganized

The checking of receipts when you leave is annoying and ridiculous. Obviously if I have full bags in my cart walking out I paid. It's Salem everyone here has money anyway.

This store is wonderful I have no problems other than tonight. The store use to be 24/7 and then till 12am, 11pm and now 10:40pm I guess. Believe me I hate last minute shoppers as well but if your store closes at 11pm than it closes at 11pm.

I've read a mix of reviews good and bad for this Walmart Supercenter in Salem. I've had pretty good experiences at this store since I shop here during off peak times. I buy a lot of stuff at this store including groceries, produce, home essentials, toys, automotive supplies, and garden supplies. I also frequent the auto care center at the Salem Walmart for my standard oil changes ($29.88) or pit crew service ($19.88) since the Derry Walmart Supercenter and the Hudson Walmart both close to my home, do not offer onsite auto care services. I try to arrive here very early when they open at 7 AM or later in the day on a weekday when the place is not too crazy busy. Park on the north side of the building near the auto service center and enter through the side door near the service bays. The wait for an oil change to be completed can vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on demand. They also give you a barcode tag receipt after writing up the paperwork and taking the vehicle keys, which you can check the status of your vehicle at any scanner in the store. I have been satisfied with the pit crew service (basic oil change) here for my old car (they have 5W20 oil) and will keep coming here since the price is very competitive.

This walmart tire center is 100% terrible. I went for a tire rotation and i ask how long the wait was she was like 3-4 hours which is 100 % insane. The lady at the counter was 100 % rude, unfriendly,, unprofessional. They need tire hire real people that know what they are doing. I do not recommend anyone going there. And no I did not wait I said this is ridiculous.

This doctor separated a service animal from their person today because she was afraid of dogs! Unacceptable and she knew it! She pressured my daughter into moving the service dog into a different room during the examination, she told her (and me) she would not continue the appointment if the dog was not moved. She didnt have any regard for what a service dog is only that she was afraid of dogs. I understand a fear of dogs but she still had no right to state she would not continue with the appt if the service dog was not removed. From US Dept of Justice, Civil RIghts/Disability Division "The service animal must be permitted to accompany the individual with a disability to all areas of the facility where customers are normally allowed to go." "Refusing service and/or being rude to a service Dog and handler is not only unprofessional behavior, but it is illegal at both state and federal levels." Not a good business decision!

REVIEW OF WALMART AUTO "SERVICE" Walmart sells an inexpensive Car Battery at a reasonable price with free installation. Time will tell if the battery is good quality. What I did not bargain for was paint damage because the Battery "Technician" apparently closed the hood with a greasy hand and then tried to remove the evidence by wiping it away with what appears to have been an equally greasy cloth. 20 minutes spent at home, polishing and waxing the hood and I was able to remove the many surface scratches created by the careless Walmart Automotive Employee. The damage is gone but the fact remains. A poorly trained employee damaged the customer's property. Oh well. Sometimes you get more than you paid for. Although it may be something extra that you didn't want.
