I got a chain as a gift for my boyfriend here. The sales lady told me that it was 14k gold. I later went onto their website and found the exact chain as I became suspicious of Banter, and turns out it is actually 10k. In addition, the sales lady kept insisting that I get the protection plan for the chain which is $55 and only protects the jewelry for a year. Other jewelry stores provide protection for life, and I thought that it would not be worth it. The sales lady told me that I should consider the protection as the jewelry breaks all the time. After purchasing the chain, I realized that it does not make sense for high quality jewelry to break all the time. If their jewelry was high quality, why would it be breaking all the time? I also then compared prices with other and better known jewelry stores for the same mm, karat, and length, all to find out that their prices are much less expensive than banter. In the past, I also bought a gold naval ring from banter. The ring bent with the lightest pressure, and thankfully I had gotten the protection and swapped out the ring but at the same time it bent and broke the first time I wore it. The jewelry here looks really beautiful in the store but I don’t think it is high quality or with the prices that they have.

Girl that did my daughters piercing was really nice , she explained everything well. The other girl (chunky Spanish girl with short , black hair to her neck was the opposite . No social skills , rude and shouldn’t be working with the public. She couldn’t be bothered .

went to exchange a chain that had broke for a new one since i had the warranty, they looked at it and told me it doesn’t look like the one that they had in the system under my phone number even though i bought it there and it looked the exact same. why would i lie about my phone number?

Went in today completely upset about an experience I had at another banter store which left me disgusted with the way I was treated. At first I was hesitant but I really needed help. I am so glad I went to this store because my experience was the complete opposite. The girl that was helping me I believe her name was Denise. She was so kind and helpful and I think was a manager because she kept having to stop and help the other employees but she never made me feel like she wasn’t giving me her full attention. Not only was she able to look in the computer and answer the warranty questions I had with out my receipt, but she was also able to help me change my perception of the company. I even left with some new earrings ! I will be taking the 30 minute drive from now on just to do business with this location. 10 stars!!!
