I went to them for an alteration job on my dress that was already ruined by another tailor. It was very last min but they were so patient with me in understanding what I wanted done and agreed to do it in just 3 days. They were very kind people to talk to and you could tell they take their job very seriously, however small. They saved my dress!

My son got his custom tuxedo along with a suit which for him perfectly. They offer custom suiting at affordable prices. The workmanship and the selection of fabrics are great quality. The owners along with the sales team are very accommodating and kind. They go over a beyond for their clients. I highly recommend this gem !

the customer service is abysmal and non existent. I dropped off a pair of jeans, said the latest possible pick up date was 10 days from drop off. when I called 7 days later asking if they’re ready yet, just to check in, I got absolutely berated on the phone about how I said a different date and I’m wrong. All he needed to do was tell me they’re busy and it’s not done yet. Instead I got yelled at, interrupted and talked to for 15+ minutes, multiple phone calls because I eventually hung up due to the rudeness and a final voicemail telling me they would no longer work on the pants and to come get them. Absolutely asinine place to attempt to do business with. I will never come back.

Highly recommend Salem Custom Tailor! I called with a rather interesting and quickly needed request, they could not have been more helpful and my tux jacket came out perfect.

My daughter and I needed alterations on dresses for my son's wedding. I cannot say enough about the work that was done on both dresses. Their attention to detail is amazing. They are extremely nice and easy to work with. I am so grateful to have found them.

Before I dive into why I’m unhappy, I want to say they seem like nice people. Prices are astronomical. They don’t communicate well about expected outcomes. I feel like I just got cheated out of over $200 for a sad result that doesn’t look much different from when I entered. I am disappointed that I ran out of time and brought my dress here instead of doing my research for a custom tailor who could make my dress look good. Maybe they are better for smaller projects? I don’t know. But for me, this will be my first and last time with this business. Also noticed a large water stain after getting my dress back. I can’t say for certain that it’s from them. But I did not notice it before. Super bummed out by the whole experience.

This place is absolutely incredible!!! My best friend needed emergent alterations the DAY BEFORE her wedding and they swooped in and fixed everything that was wrong on the same day!!! They went above and beyond to make sure the bride looked perfect in her dress on her wedding day! I will take all my alterations here moving forward!

Phenomenal customer service and the quality of work is amazing. I had one baseball uniform pants adjusted in a rush job and they did the most amazing repair on a comforter of mine that I’ve had for many years ! My whole family comes for alterations and repairs! Highly recommend!

Had my dressed for Junior Social altered here, came out amazing, and the outcome of the dress came out perfectly! I’d definitely recommend this place for someone who needed alternations to their dresses or suits.

Came here for my first prom and the dress fit perfectly and just how I wanted to afterwards. Quick service and even nicer people. They even made a custom bowtie out of the excess pieces of my dress for my boyfriend to wear to the prom. They’re very sweet, and I’ll be coming here for my prom this year as well, I’m definitely looking forward to it??
