“Post office flying flag at night with no light Per us flag code American flags when flown on public property shal be lit up at night or taken in. as of today 3/23/23 6:00 am flag is dark. Out and not lit up let’s see when this gets taken care if I’ll be making my call today . “I just moved to Plaistow. I had a large package to return, and I pulled into the post office and parked in the handicap spot. As i got myself,my walker, and my package out of the car, an employee came right outside and offered to take my package inside for me and take care of it. I was so impressed, courtesy like that is hard to come by!!! Kudos to the Plaistow post office!”

“I've used this post office for years and the staff is uniformly courteous and helpful. Not sure why some of the reviews are negative. There is a long wait at peak hours (e.g. Noon) and before the holidays so they may be a bit understaffed. But that isn't the fault of the employees. They are a good bunch.”

“I had a very positive experience with Postmaster Chuck Nichols of the Lawrence Post Office earlier this year. I have been trying to find a place to post this review.I had a package that was supposed to arrive in Europe in January. For some reason, it was shipped back to North Reading and then attempted to Europe again, getting as far as NY and then finally shipped back to MA ending up at the Lawrence Post Office, which is not where I had shipped it. Nonetheless, Postmaster Nichols located the package at his facility, which was not easy. I learned through tracking that this is where it ended up and Mr. Nichols searched his inventory until he found it.Additionally, he shipped it back to Europe for me free of charge. All of this occurred over the phone without my having to come in. It eventually arrived at its destination a few months late, but probably would have been lost forever without the help of Mr. Nichols. Needless to say, I am very grateful to him. For this reason and the fact that Mr. Nichols oversees this facility, I recommend the Lawrence Post Office highly!”
