Love that they sell my dog's favorite fresh food Ollie with many different flavors varieties! Price is reasonable too!! Staffs are always friendly and helpful. 5 star!

The store is pretty disorganized and there was one poor girl stocking the entire store, helping customers find products AND running up to the register to ring me out. She clearly wasn't management, and I found two of her supervisors huddled in a room so good luck stopping by and I hope someone takes care of that or that young lady is saved from that place ?

This is not my local Petco branch but I do try to visit whenever I am in the Salem NH area. In my most recent visit as I was purchasing cat food and supplies I asked the cashier about the confusion with my Petco member account. I never seem to accumlate reward points although I do frequently shop at Petco. She looked up my account, discovered that I have two accounts linked to the same phone number with my name wrong on both accounts. She advised me to contact Petco customer service and wrote down the phone number and circled the pertinent information on my current receipt. She was so HELPFUL! Thanks for all of the great customer service at Petco in every location!

The way they house their birds should be considered borderline animal abuse. It is, at the VERY least, animal neglect. Walked in today to buy food for my pet, and saw a glass dome type enclosure for birds…one that would normally hold one, MAYBE two pet birds. Well, that is not what I witnessed - this enclosure had well over TWO DOZEN birds inside. I looked for just a few moments and saw birds biting each other (not grooming, but *really* biting) and barely able to move around. Entire thing was covered in feces. I am APPALLED and could barely stand to be in the store after seeing that. Every animal deserves respect and to be treated well. I hope that the next time I have to return to this store, the birds’ housing is at least SOMEWHAT humane. Despicable

Do NOT bring your dogs to this groomer. The staff(GROOMERS) is well trained and kind people, and mean well, but all upper management cares about is the money.
They don't even have a bath tub for larger dogs. So if you have a large dog they're chained to a wall. It looks like what I can only describe as a scene from saw in the bathing room. There's black mould in the ceiling that they just paint over when it grows through and I was told not to talk about it if I didn't want to get fired
The kennels are made from old particle board that if they pee or poo in there it just soaks into the wood. I'm an ex employee so I know what it all looks like. Again, the staff in GROOMING are beautiful people, but it's all run by Petco. Stay away.

I went in, got what I wanted and checked out without being approached or talked to, and I freaking LOVED it. Person at register was pleasant, and I knew if I had a need or question that they would be helpful. Love shopping this store!

my boyfriend and I went today 03/23/24 in the afternoon at petco 92 Cluff Crossing Rd, Salem, NH 03079, we went to look at the fish section to buy, we asked a guy who was sitting there for information on which fish to buy for our aquarium (he advised the fish) out of nowhere a girl who was sitting (wearing a pincer working with a fish jar also worked there) she was super ANTIPATHY AND ARROGANT entered our conversations, if we had asked her for help ok but we didn't, she came in talking about the fish, so far so good, when I got close to another aquarium to see the bigger fish, she was snorting as if my presence bothered her (she had never seen it before), I wanted to buy the bigger fish, but every time my boyfriend I asked the boy for help, she again entered the conversation with a very ARROGANT tone of voice, we had already understood the boy to explain, but my boyfriend needed to repeat it to me because I don't speak English but Portuguese and I needed him to translate, and the more he She talked to me, but she entered the conversation with a very arrogant and ignorant tone, and only told us to look at other fish because those weren't for our aquarium (With a VERY ARROGANT appearance, voice and tone)!! We no longer buy the fish because of the service, and we also had friends who wanted to buy, but we recommended other establishments because of the way we were treated, at no time were we rude, to work with customers you have to have friendliness and patience to know how to explain, I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THERE AND MUCH LESS TO HAVE IT HOW IT WOULD WORK.
