Awesome prices but the staff is kind of awful. Food placed under wrong sale signs etc and staff refuses to honor it, even though it's their mistake. Very rude. Will still come back for the prices at this location though lol. (Assuming things are in the right spot next time ? )

Been there for the first time. I was amazed at how friendly the employees were and the cleanliness of the store. A great place to shop and talk. Prices were so much lower than in CT. Thank you Kevin Levesque, manager of the store, for making us feel welcomed. Next time I'm in the area I def will go there.

Market Basket your prices are out of control!! I live near Salem, NH. There are 3 Market Baskets all within 1 mile on Broadway! Is there a need for 3?! We desperately need a Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods in the area. I spend less money at Trader Joe’s for better quality food! I just bought the football ice cream cake for my moms bday it was $14! Last year it was $7.99! It now has almost doubled this year?! I’m praying for a Trader Joe’s in the Methuen, MA or Salem, NH area! Cause I am done with Market Basket!!! I just spent $225 on a few things for the next couple of days for a family of 6! The prices are thru the roof these days. It is supposed to be cheaper! How can families in need afford food at these prices?! Ridiculous! Never shopping at Market Basket will drive 45 min to the closest Trader Joe’s or 30min to Whole Foods!

I shopped here 2 days ago, I got a bunch of stuff, but specifically I got salmon that was bad salmon, naan bread that went moldy in a day, brocolli that went moldy in a day, and a cucumber that went moldy in a day. I can understand that sometimes you buy food and maybe it was on the brink of going bad, so it does very quickly. I think it's reasonable to not have perfect expectations for food as it is often being shipped pretty far, but so many items going bad in such a short time? Just seems awfully coincidental. Other market baskets I've never had an issue and has been fine, but just this one I had these issues.

My wife had ordered our daughters cake here a year or two ago, and they totally butchered it. It was bad. So since she learned from that, she went in last weekend to grab a cake again. This time all she wanted was a 1/4 sheet, plain, nothing but white frosting on it. She asked for a picture to be printed and was told no... Even though there was absolutely nobody in line and kitchen was clean. So she assumed they clearly dont go above and beyond for customers here. She wanted to decorate it herself with the kids. She was given a pricetag of $+27 for that. The price label read "DECORATED 1/4 sheet cake". She bought all the extra frostings, chocolate chips, edible happy birthday and stars cake toppers, edible cake writing markers... Next time even if it's a heatwave, she's going to go ahead and make her own for not even $5. She isn't a cheap lady.. shes used to paying $300+ for our kids birthdays .. she knows the cake business. And she's very aware of the batters y'all use as well.

Market Basket is literally the only place I personally buy food, unless I'm in a pinch. If you buy the Identical items at another large Blue Colored Department/Supermarket Store and you'll realize quickly that you could have saved plenty of cash, not to mention the Fact that you also have to scan & bag all of your own groceries at Walfart.

Long time fan of MB and will always be but when I run into this it is disturbing. I call markets kitchen to place a lunch order. I call at 11:20 .you don't man says 25 to 30 min .I arrive at 12:00 and ask for my order .young man looks at me and says , sorry we got busy and started to work on my order .people came, took a number and got thier orders before mine. I didn't get my order till 25 past 12 .all the kid could say was , sorry were were busy. I replied politically, calling ahead is designed for helping with busy time and not to use busy times as an excuse.

Best prices anywhere in state for groceries, and competitive prices for cigarettes and beer and wine. They always have amply stocked, tidy shelves/displays and overall clean and neat appearance. Store is always adequately staffed with associates who are friendly, well trained and offer prompt service.

Besides the fresh meats and produce. Checking out is usually a breeze. It's not every day you not only get a cashier but, you get a bagger. Other places, you're lucky if you have more than One cashier available.

Usually very busy. Go later in the evening if you can. Probably best price wise compared to other grocery stores.

Thank you so much for not properly educating your staff on how to ask a patron question's about a Service animal & also not reprimanding another person for engaging with a customers working animal.Shame on you and your lack of education with the customers needs that walk threw your door, absolutely disgraceful behavior from one of your Red Coat managers. If a medical alert dog is distracted by someone trying to pet it, the animal could miss a critical warning and the owner could die. A distracted guide dog could walk its handler out in front of a car, or into an obstacle. A wheelchair user could have their chair overturned by someone distracting their service animal.Don't forget that a service dog handler is a real person, and when you treat them with disrespect while with their service animal that could not only distract the dog from saving the handlers life but cause the human to possibly fall or faint.Do not, stare, engage, whistle, pet, approach to pet, never touch a service animal without asking permission first.
