A fairly standard Macy's - it's one of the anchors here at this mall, and it's a multi-level affair with cosmetics and women's apparel on the ground floor, plus men's apparel and other items on the second floor. As far as clothes go, there's a mixed emphasis on well-known brands (sometimes with dedicated displays of their own) and house brands. The premises have a '90s feel to them, but, fortunately, unlike other Macy's outlets I've visited, things were tidy, organized, and easy to locate. The clientele skews older - sort of like a place where Mom and Dad would shop - and much of the merchandise is available online, but if you really need to see and try something in person before buying (especially, say, the cosmetics), then, yes, this is a must-have anchor for the mall.

Men's cologne sales. They do not like to give samples even after spending $200.00. I could not believe it, they must keep the samples for themselves.

Still shitty service and no selections after all these years. People who are at makeup counters don't know what they are selling nor what they have in inventory. Yeah, I know this is not like Saks 5th Avenue but people here does not even try.

When they have sales they have great sales! It is hard to find a sales person at times to actually make the payments for those deals. The coupons are rather confusing at times and you have to find a cashier at times that knows how to work the system to get discounts on certain purchase. Don't get me started on star rewards vs. points. If you return something you used star rewards they actually give you less actual cash back. I try to avoid this place at all cost as the associates are rude and the store is usually a disaster.

BEWARE: Macy's lies about merchandise shipping availability! Do not order items that need to be shipped to home such as furniture. I ordered mattress set AUG 11 and was told 1 week delivery time. Then they cancelled delivery and have done so three times now (with next date available NOV 14!). I have spoken to customer service (who lied and said merchandise was in and available for shipping TWICE). Today received text saying delivery was cancelled due to "Weather." Spoke with customer service supervisor today and she said that message about weather was a :mistake." The item is NOT available. Tired of LIES Macy's. Will never shop there again.

I went this afternoon around 4 pm to return some things that I'd ordered on line. I was appalled to see customers with NO Masks and one gal trying things on over her clothes. She had no mask on. One clerk at the register had a plexiglass shield but although there was a second register available they did not have plexiglass up for that one. The plexiglass did not extend much pass the register. No one was keeping an eye on things. After being open a day - the women's dept was a mess.... and the racks would not allow social distancing. So disappointed. I would have gone to find a manager but I needed to get out of there. so

Horrible experience with a Michael Kors backpack purchase. Bought it during one of their famous sales and a couple of months after, saw side strap breaking. Like it wasn’t enough material to secure correctly. Your store didn’t exchange it! You have lost more than one customer.

I wish I knew this man's name to compliment him. He works in the men's fragrance department. He has a nose piercing, shaved head, and tattoos. Very personable, and handled the Xmas crowd better than anyone. I had two kids with me and needed a gift for their dad quickly. He made it happen. It helped that we had the same taste in fragrance. He's amazing and deserves to be recognized. Thank you so much for making my shopping with two kids easy!

If you are looking for groomsmen suits, go see Eileen in the men's suit department at Macys in Salem. Not only did she help us find the perfect three piece wedding suits, shoes and shirt at a great price, she was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable throughout. After we left the store, I called Macys with a question and Eileen called me back (even though her shift had already ended) just to make sure I had the answer that day. She really went above and beyond and in all my years of shoppig at big chain retailers like Macys, I've never received such amazing customer service. She really made buying groomsmen suits a fantastic experience and anyone looking for wedding suits (or any suit) should really go see Eileen!!

My daughter needed a dress for graduation. She found one that was with some of the same & similar dresses in racks marked 40% off. It didn't ring up with the discount so the employee asked where I found it. Because she found 1 dress on a rack that didn't have the 40% she wouldn't give me the discount! I'm furious!

Soo many register but no employee.. and when I finally found someone three department down to ring up my stuff, their excuse is that they don't work for the department I'm buying the stuff from??!! Make sure you have an employee at every register exp for bags since it's all lock! I don't have time waiting or play guessing games of who work for what department and that can help me.
