Maria and her team are truly, fairy godmothers! With an almost devastating alteration attempt to my daughters prom dress (location to remain anonymous) and less than a week to spare, Maria saved my daughters gown, horse and all! I go here for simple things like hemming pants and ive never had any issues. Pricing is fair and Maria is very nice

While the seamstress and staff are actually very nice, the workmanship is disappointing to say the least.
I took my wedding dress in for alterations. It was bustled, hemmed, and taken in. She also added larger cups, but she took a shortcut of sewing them OVER the existing cups making the chest area so bulky.
She took in the dress from the chest area which ruined the existing pleats. It should have been taken in from the sides...again took another shortcut either to save time or they just don't know how to properly alter clothes. (She recommended I get the pleats pressed at a professional cleaners, but when I spoke to one, they confirmed pressing wouldn't help!)
If you're charging these kinds of prices (around $700 in my case), I expect better workmanship!
Note that I did have her hem my trench coat, and the work was fine. (This was before the wedding dress.)
Maybe use for basic and simple hems, but absolutely avoid for more complicated tailoring like a wedding dress.
I'm sorry to leave this review because they're good people, but I also want brides to avoid disappointments with their dresses. Mine looks terrible!!!

I always go here when I need any kind of alterations. They have hemmed dresses, fixed zippers, and even changed out straps on a small bag for me. They even took care of me when I needed a dress hemmed on short notice.

First let me start by saying BEST OF THE BEST, 10/10 ?? & I am as picky as they come.I tried out this shop on whim 3 years ago for rush alterations on my bridesmaid dress & haven’t gone else where since.I have had many items altered with ZERO issues, reasonably priced & returned in a fair amount of time. I always ask her for her opinion, not only is she extremely helpful but she’s also truthful of what will look best & I value this because you can tell she loves what she does and truly cares about her clientsIf you want alterations done right look no further!

Mediocre job at best! If they can’t do a seam right I wouldn’t trust them with anything more demanding. Really disappointed! I entrusted them with two pair of pants and everything turned out this way! I would feel ashamed to present this job to a customer!My recommendation is to stay away from this place.It seems they don't notice the crooked seam even after this review!
