IF you don't make an appointment to come in here, they purposely make you wait HOURS for service. And since EVERY employee already works on EXTRA SLOW mode, you can plan on basically spending the day if you walk in.

These people will deliberately make you wait, I say you want a job to screw with people this is the 1 for you, The Customer Service is stale and I almost guarantee these workers would flip their noodle if they endured 1 second of this non-sense, Rotate the staff so this comfy feeling of I can pick an choose who to screw with goes away. We the People deserve better for what we pay.

I failed the test by 1 point. Here’s why, I was taking the test and I press the skip question button. It does nothing. I press it again and it spazzes out and uses 3 os my skips. I immediately leave the room and tell them what happened and they told me they can’t do anything about it. I cant go back or restart the test. The room you take the test in is obviously surveillance to make sure nobody cheats so they could have checked and seen what happened and at least tried to do something. They told me “if something like that happens I should just wait a second for it to process” and I waited about 7-8 seconds. When I pressed skip the second time it wasn’t just when it changed as well it was still on the same question. I assume if I waited it would have done nothing so it was just like it broke, stole my skip, and employees did nothing. The employees were this Indian gentleman with black hair and this white woman with short brownish hair and glasses. Horrible employees and system. You would expect a better system from something like this considering that’s the whole point in what they do. DONT GO TO THIS DMV!!!!

Trooper Michael was so helpful and accommodating . I confused my appointment day and he was able to squeeze me in when someone else no showed. I'm so grateful for his kindness.

Here is the deal. Typically visits to the DMV are looked forward to as much a root canal. However the reality is thanks to a new approach of being able to go on line, book a time and date appointment, access all the information you need including downloading the forms you can turn a visit to the DMV into a breeze.I had an 11am appointment to renew my lcense & upgrade to true ID, they ask not to arrive more than 5 minutes before the appointment. I arrived on time. Checked in, had vision screening and all my forms and documents confirmed as what was needed. Then was given a deli slip to wait. Sat down, was called, the registry person was excellent, efficient and professional. I was back in my car with temporary license at 11:24am. How can you beat that!

This is the absolute worst registry I've ever been to. Same story everytime 16 years, 10 customers and 100 minutes wait time. The people who work here have no respect or courtesy or customer service skills. I would recommend going anywhere except here unless your okay with being mistreated and disrespect. And for me I'm very dark skin so im to dark to be treated with professionalism. Be prepared to become upset unless your white and related to someone in Salem who works for the town then you get a free pass.

The building was easy to manuver, easy to understand directions, very pleasant staff and very helpful and patient! Our entire experience lasted 22 minutes and we were done! Easy in and out!

I was greeted in the worst way possible. Never come to this DMV, go to concord because at least they won’t treat you like trash.
