Do not buy from this company. Their stock numbers on their website are either not up to date or purposely left incorrect. I purchased some PC100 SDRAM from them, which according to the website was in stock. They took my money and nothing ever came from it. Weeks later I tried to get an update VIA email, and even a phone call, and I was not able to get a hold of anyone. I was finally able to connect with someone on the website chat, they asked for me to send the order number. According to them, the order number didn't exist. I then forwarded the email purchase order I had. The person then said it was out of stock and that they would refund the money. When I asked for an ETA on the refund, they said paypal was having issues, that day and that I should see it in approximately two days. I never got a refund. They just shrugged me off. I had to open a case with Paypal to get a refund. After all this trouble, I finally got my money back. STAY AWAY from this website. It's a scam.

Having used DMS memory on several Apple Mac Pro (no, NOT MacBook Pros...Mac Pros!) for over 13 years, we've experienced memory failures far greater than Apple memory and a competitors' memory. For instance, the current memory failure we're experiencing is for one of our 2013 Mac Pros. This will make the 5th (3 within 2 months of each other) DMS memory module failure in less than 8 months, again, on one machine. When submitting the previous faulty memory for a warranty exchange, from the same 2013 Mac Pro, the entire communication process with DMS felt like an interrogation, even having submitted detailed information and the original invoice. While 6+ RAM module failures with 4 machines (the number of Mac Pros with DMS memory) over several years may not seem drastic, the downtime, work interruption and so forth (workflow interruptions, thorough testing/troubleshooting, removing/replacing RAM, submitting warranty claims and more), are costly both in productivity and revenue. Drastic nonetheless when compared to the aforementioned Apple and competitor's RAM reliability and functionality. Unfortunately, we cannot honestly recommend DMS RAM for Apple desktops for businesses. In fact we recommend (and have to our network support customers) avoiding DMS RAM, with respect to Apple desktops/workstations (we can't speak to reliability issues for Apple notebooks since those all have Apple RAM). While Apple retail customers (vs. business users) may not notice the loss of productivity, the aforementioned productivity interruptions can result (and have for us) costly work interruptions. In summary, recalling a quote we used with customers refusing to recognize quality (product, support, etc), ""The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten" - Benjamin Franklin

Always amazing in every, single way! For the first time in all the years I am using DMS for my memory needs (I've worked for Apple, Microsoft and IBM so you do the math), I've never had a memory stick of theirs go down. Today it happened and because of how my Mac Pro Tower is set up, I can't easily access the machine to test which one of 8 sticks (The mac Pro takes 8 sticks on 2 daughterboards) was the culprit. Using the system profiler, I found which set was giving me trouble and the person on the phone said he would immediately send me out a replacement set of 4 sticks, eliminating the hassle of swapping out stick after stick. Hands down, they are the best! I would NEVER buy from anyone but them when it comes to my computer/tech needs. I highly recommend you give them a call!

This is THE "go to" store in the huge internet shopping mall for RAM chips. Choosing the right doohickey for your PC / Laptop is confusing to most - like me - and I first used a computer in 1984. DMS customer service keeps bankers hours but provide patient guidance. Case in point, My PC performance improved dramatically. I added 12 GB at a price cheaper than Jeff's outlet (Amazon) but more importantly, DMS's impartial advice prevented me from plunking four hundred dollars on 64 GB chips that wouldn't do much.

I have made two purchases of Ram Memory from DMS, and the orders were promptly shipped and arrived (in Canada) and, in perfect condition. Everything works fantastic. Very low cost for good quality product.

My father is naive in things computer hardware related. This company sold him the same incompatible stick of RAM twice. To be fair, he didn't follow my advice that would have given him as much RAM as his system could handle for $24 less than what DMS charged on their website. But to be fair, their support staff has no compunctions about exploiting him.

Data Memory Systems has always fulfilled my orders without any problems. Sometimes deliveries have come sooner than expected. They have had the best prices on memory and hard drives than other retailers.

Easy to find my memory module. Checkout was easy. Price was VERY good compared to other retailers. Memory module comes with lifetime guarantee and DMS has a 30 day return policy. In all likelihood will not return iot, but you never know, this gives me an option. Definitely a 5-star experience.

Placed my order on 12/04 and paid for two day shipping. It is now the 10th and USPS tracking says it will be in tomorrow the 11th. I can only hope I am getting what I paid for.

Wanted to upgrade an old S*L*O*W Toshiba Satellite A105 S2051 computer by boosting the memory from an inadequate 0.5 MB to the max 2 MB. Being a computer geek from way back and knowing how fussy Toshiba's are, I went straight to the Toshiba website for the specs. Was VERY careful to get the EXACT make and model number. Unfortunately the computer would not boot (it just looped) not matter what I did. Posted my frustration on the Toshiba website (to help others avoid my pain). Sent the memory back (and lost the return shipping and a restocking fee).
Was going to give it up as a bad job but checked around the internet and found DMS. Contacted their technical support. They were VERY helpful, answering all of my detailed questions about specifications and compatibility. They also assured me that 100% compatibility guarantee was 100% (no restocking fee). I decided to give it a try.
The order was filled immediately (as soon as I placed it--at 2 am no less-- I got the email). It was shipped (free) the next morning and arrived in a timely fashion and in great shape (each module separately packaged in sealed antistatic bags and then together in a cushioning bubble wrap envelope). Popped the new modules in, booted (with baited breath), and cheered as Linux jumped onto the screen! I ran sudo lshw in Linux to check to see if the memory was fully recognized. Finally Yes! 2MB! It also booted up MUCH faster! Haven't had much chance yet to try programs like Libra office or run multiple tabs in Firefox but stuff seems to open MUCH faster! I can have multiple programs running and the disk light stays off now instead of running constantly. The memory upgrade was definitely the way to go.
I can't comment on whether DMS actually lives up to the 100% compatibility guarantee because I didn't have to send it back :) but I will have no qualms about ordering from them in the future. They are permanently bookmarked as a source for computer parts!
Hmm, maybe a nice 120 MB SSD from the same folks? Or 8MB of RAM to max out my HP laptop?
BTW DMS actually beat the competition on price and were cheaper than the first place I tried, partially offsetting the lost shipping and restocking. Finding a great supplier made it a very fair trade overall because education is always worth it.

Ordered memory to expand my lab environment. DMS delivered the memory at the best price available AND two days earlier than promised!

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Crystal clear guidance about what memory works for your Mac, guidance about what extra memory (over Apple stated maximums) will work, incredibly prompt shipping with complete tracking (even through USPS) (and FREE to boot), and most importantly, memory works PERFECTLY (like having a new Mac for 5% of the price). If you are thinking about it, just do it, you will not be disappointed.
