This place is amazing not only they have every single gaming console that I remember as a kid but they had a ton of games to choose from. Ended up walking away with four PlayStation 3 games for 10 bucks unbeatable I will definitely be going back. The customer service was incredible. These people are very easy to work with and will help you with anything you need.

Large inventory, but they sell used modern games at new game prices.Unfortunately won't be coming back because an employee tried to charge me more $ because a magic card she forgot to change the price tag on before I found it in their folders didn't fit the price she thought it was worth. It's the little things that really matter in buisness.

One of my go to places for my gaming needs. I'm a retro gamer and usually find what I'm looking for. The selection is fantastic

Amazing selection of classic games and systems. I was impressed with the amount of gaming related items they had too, like you can't go wrong with a POP

Good selection, friendly staff. Was looking for a new 3ds xl but they only had a special edition that was out of my budget.

Excellent selection and ok prices. Funkos can be a great value but the way they're organized and displayed is horrible.

This place is a huge rip off and they are thieves, if you ever have a system to sell I highly recommend you stay away from this place, their website clearly states they pay 1/4 of what the value is I brought in a system and games and they tried to buy the system and take the games for free, DO NOT sell your items here you’d be better off going to GameStop or bazaar in tyngsboro ma. Again this place is a joke.

I've been to Core Gaming a good many times over the years and they have only gotten worse. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful and more than a little inattentive. They never greet me when I enter the store and they never ask me if I'm looking for anything in particular. They portray themselves in a way that is rather off putting and not at all professional. The prices are also exorbitant and are nearly 1.5 to 2 times higher than eBay if you are looking for anything that isn't shovelware. They have a decent selection of titles, but that is hardly mentionable since everything they have is so expensive. I would never recommend anyone to shop at Core Gaming. They are terrible in their customer service and nearly everything else. Go elsewhere.

I’ve been visiting Core Gaming for many years now. I was with them at the old location, and with them at the new location. In recent years I’ve noticed a significant decline in the attitude of the staff, breath of selection, and quality of retro games.Lately it’s been incredibly rare that I see the store owner when I visit. This has presented the perception that the staff has free reign to behave as they wish including behavior like:• Sitting in the middle of an isle blocking all traffic to do some level of organization while making no attempt to accommodate shoppers• Recording social media videos of whatever the latest trend, but in an incredibly loud, repetitive, and obnoxious way.• Being weird and awkward to customers. For example, there’s a right way and a wrong way to let someone know you’re closed or closing soon, “Hey sorry, we’re closing soon, is there anything I can quickly help you with?” Much better than “uhhhhhh KUH-LOSED.”Beyond the staff behavior, store presentation, and inflated prices, there’s the real issue and why I felt the need to leave this review: if you shop here, be incredibly cautious of fakes and bootlegs. Core gaming knowingly and willingly sells fakes and bootlegs. Sometimes they will label these as “repros” (call them whatever you want, they’re still bootlegs), but other times they will not. Their bootlegs can range from fake GBA pokemon carts, to CD-Rs of unreleased dreamcast games (but we put a ink-jet printed label on it, so that makes it a repro right?!). Seeing fake games next to real games, with no clear labeling really makes me question the ethics of the store and the provenance of all the other games they’re selling. It’s a real shame they’ve slipped so far. This store needs a jerk-manager to get them back on track. Don’t give the staff a free pass, don’t sell bootlegs, and price your stuff competitively.

My first time coming here. Just bought a Funko pop. Customer service was horrible. I asked how the return policy worked and he was rude and told me if I didn’t want it. I just wanted to know the return policy as I never shopped there before. It was just a general question. Won’t be coming back.

Usually I go to a game store that is closer to where I live, but when I went to the area I had to check out core gaming. Of all the retro game shops in the state this one is the biggest. They even do a frequent buyers program where you get 10% back of what you spend to spend at the store. They have everything, so it times you may think the prices are a little higher than some of the other stores but they are still fair compared to the market. Everyone there is pretty knowledgeable, and it's the place to go when you need to find pieces that you need for your collection. They also resurfaced discs and bring them back to life like brand new for a very low price. I'll keep going back as long as I'm a collector.
