“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Brides Across America in Andover, MA, and I must say that my experience was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I walked through the doors, Patricia and Terry made me feel like a valued customer, deserving of the utmost care and attention. I am delighted to give this salon a glowing five-star review.
As a bride marrying a Marine Corps fiancé, I was fortunate enough to take advantage of their offer for a free wedding dress. Initially, I was nervous that because I was receiving my dress for free, I might not be able to enjoy the same fairy tale experience as those who purchased their dresses. However, all my concerns were quickly alleviated the moment I stepped into the salon.
Despite this incredible opportunity, the staff at Brides Across America went above and beyond to ensure that I had a truly special experience. They treated me with the same level of professionalism and warmth as any other customer. Their genuine commitment to making every bride feel like a princess on her wedding day is truly remarkable.
One aspect that impressed me greatly was the personalized service I received. They carefully selected dresses in my size and took the time to understand my preferences. I was given the freedom to try on any dresses that caught my eye. Patricia, in particular, was by my side throughout the entire process. She expertly assisted me in removing and putting on the dresses and made sure they fit perfectly by using clips where necessary.
The moment I found my perfect wedding dress, the team at Brides Across America celebrated with me by offering a delightful glass of champagne. It was a small but meaningful gesture that made me feel like the center of attention.
The salon itself is an absolute beauty. The lounge couches provided a comfortable space for me and my party to relax and enjoy the experience. The dressing room was dedicated solely to me, allowing for privacy and an intimate atmosphere. The mirrors were beautifully adorned, enhancing the overall ambiance of the salon. Additionally, they had a selection of shoes available to try on with the dress in case I had forgotten my own heels.
Overall, my experience at Brides Across America was nothing short of wonderful. Patricia and Terry, along with their dedicated team, truly understand how to make a bride feel special and cherished. They exceeded my expectations and proved that their commitment to creating a magical experience goes beyond financial considerations.
I highly recommend Brides Across America to any bride-to-be in search of their dream wedding dress. It's a place where you'll be treated with the utmost care and given the opportunity to find the dress that makes you feel truly magical. Thank you, Patricia, Terry, and the entire team, for making my experience unforgettable, regardless of the fact that I received my dress for free. Your dedication and passion for creating a fairy tale experience are truly admirable.”

“I love going to this YMCA! It is a gorgeous new facility with a wide variety of equipment and an inclusive atmosphere. There is no pressure to be a bodybuilder, and no shame if you're not in shape - the focus is entirely on health and feeling comfortable there. They really make it a place for everyone, from athletes to families with children to retirees. The pool is kept in excellent shape (very clean), and there's almost always a bike or treadmill available. I have found the staff to be professional and friendly. The Good Day Café has been a great addition in the past year. This YMCA seems to have a close connection to the community, and they are always running events to support local organizations and provide chances for social interaction. Overall, I am satisfied and plan to keep my membership!”
“This is a super place for working out. No attitude just friendly co work-out people. The teenagers don't have a problem with older people and they actually say hello to them. Just a great atmosphere.”
“Ruth’s House is an amazing thrift store! The work they are doing to serve the community of Haverhill is truly a blessing.
The store staff and volunteers are super friendly, it’s a clean environment and the prices are reasonable! Unlike a lot of bigger chain thrift stores that keep hiking up the prices.
I can only speak volumes of positivity about my experiences with Ruth’s House and I will definitely be coming back as a repeat customer.”
“Very helpful for those who ate in need of food and clothing in and when hard times come about. We never know when we might need help and the few places that can are.”
“This is a very large thrift shop with a LOT of clothing. Not much housewares but if you are into thrifting clothing this is the place. 2 floors. Enterence is hard to find along the side of the building (there also is a small lot) or park on the street and feed the meter $1 per hour.Prices are very good and they have weekly color tag discounts (ex 50% off on yellow, blue tags )No furniture.”
“Went here for their BBQ steak event with friends and family under the pavilion. Only went into the building to use the restroom, but inside looked like a great place to hang out for a drink and conversation. This is the 11th American Legion I've been in and it was the coziest. Stop in and see if it's your kind of place.”
“They teach a babysitting class for tweens here. It's a great class and the staff is very welcoming.
There isn't much parking outside, but people often use the no parking zone if it's for a short period.”
“The adoption process was seamless and easy!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. My issue is we were told that the cats may come down with “cold like symptoms” such as a runny nose or cough due to stress and change of environment. Understandable.
I didn’t not expect less than 48 hours later needing to spend $400 at the ER because one of the cats we adopted contracted conjunctivitis from the facility. I contacted the director and basically got told “oh well”. Cold symptoms is one thing, they will get over that in a few days and doesn’t require a ER visit. I find the response to my situation extremely unprofessional.”
