Great bike shop with experienced staff. Service team also does a great job. I especially like their open mindedness when it comes to bike/accessory brands. My only hope would be for them to expand their selection of accessories.

Shout out to JK whom took time away to do a full tune-up on my ebike unexpectedly. He made it possible so I would be able to pick up within a few hours knowing I came from the cape.
He listened carefully to my concerns including possibility of a seat exchange for a more suitable style for my bottom.
With Todd’s help a seat was located and I have been pleasantly pleased with comfort in bike and ease with a refreshed serviced bike to keep it in good riding. Knowing my bike will be well taken care of is worth the trip.

Vinnie and the folks at Buchikas Bike provided highly competent and professional support during the the bike buying process - from using the measurements from my existing bike to setup the test rides, supporting multiple visits, getting different sizes of the same bike to compare back to back- resulted in me getting the right bike, at the right price. I want to elaborate on my 5 star rating. Bottom Line - I would never buy a bike from another shop because of their service after the sale - but details are below:
1. I bought a 1 by rockhopper from the shop a few years ago and the detailer has gotten out of wack multiple times - usually after about 20 hours. My buddy has the same bike no issues. Not the bike shop’s fault - but they have spent hours working on it and have charged me little or nothing each time to adjust it. Again - not the bike shops fault that the Specialized 1 by derailer needs constant maintenance to be rideable, and it isn’t just minor adjustments to the cable or limits on the derailer that can be simply adjusted by an inexperienced mechanic, but the shop stands by the product long after the sale with amazing support long after the manufacturers warranty! That alone would solidify my loyalty to the shop and earned a 5 star rating, but is hardly the reason for my 5 star rating in this post.
2. I had hitch break lose on the “bumps” on i93. Mega damage to 2 specialized bikes and 1 Cannondale. I thought all 3 bikes were scrap and I was just thankful nobody got killed on the highway
The shop was great. I thought all 3 bikes were scrapped- but the shop worked with me find parts and or fix parts and fixed all three bikes for a very reasonable price. I really can’t thank them enough. They guys working on the bike treated the bikes like they were their own. It is clear that they all love bikes, they love sharing the sport with others, and they really care about the work they do.

Phil helped me choose a mountain bike based on the riding I do. We discussed options and pricing. I bought a sweet Specialized so that I can hit Highlands with my son. That’s why we come back to Buchika’s.
