I’ve taken my Z4 to European Auto of Rye a couple of times and have been very pleased. Kevin and his staff have been cordial, knowledgeable, and communicative each time. I highly recommend.

Owner and head mechanic Kevin is a humble mastermind of most European makes, models and eras.He continues to amaze me with his depth of knowledge on so many different types of vehicles, from vintage VW's and Jaguar's to newer Mini's and Audi's. I trust this guy and the stellar staff, like Ty to assess the situation, address the vehicle's needs and know how to communicate clearly and honestly about sensible options. I have taken multiple cars here for about a decade and have never felt like there was unnecessary work being pushed. This place is trustworthy and the culture is on point! Good people doing good work, without pretense or pressure.Also for what it's worth, I grew up in the car culture of Southern California and now live in Florida and NH and have yet to come across a garage that I trust as much to keep my cars in top shape without breaking the bank. European Auto Service is a gem and I look forward to many more years of having them as the place I know and value on many levels. The building might be worn with New English car character and seem like it's from another generation, but the functional sophistication of mechanical prowess on the shop floor is second to none!

Kevin is the absolute best. He is incredibly honest and knowledgeable. He goes above and beyond to help me out with my 97 VW eurovan. He has helped me out of many a jam - if I could give 6/5 stars I would! :) Also his employee Ty is just as kind and very helpful as well!

Had my timing belt on my VW TDI done here a few months ago. Not only was it the cheapest estimate I found, but the final price was actually a few hundred less than the estimate. Honest guys that know what they’re doing. Only issue is that they are so good at what they do, it can sometimes be hard to get an appointment!

Brought my car in for a radiator, came out with check engine light on with my car being in limp mode. Didn’t seem interested in fixing the problem eitherOutrageous price for the radiator as well , 360$???My SO was quoted a days work, turned into over a week with three days of no communication. We had to call to find out that it hadn’t been started yet after a week. He worked on someone else's car instead of my SO. after an appointment and agreement was made. He let someone else go before him? And didn’t communicate what was going on so my SO could to try to take his business elsewhere.AND DIDNT APOLOGIZEI appreciate people who let me know what’s happening, not blindsided. Me and my SO are very understand until it rude and shady. Something seems off with this shop and I haven’t had a good time like I thought I was going to, like everyone said this shop was amazing! Well we are very disappointedWe feel like we were not treated as good customers and put on the back burner. he was also reactive and disrespectful towards my SO.Genuinely saddened and disappointed someone could do this to a customer and not show any remorse.

I was visiting family in the area with my '87 Alfa Romeo Spider when my clutch pivot pin failed. I called all around Maine and NH and European Auto Service was willing to take on the job. They were able to turn the car around for me in the same day and got me back on the road. This was a knuckle busting repair that not many mechanics would want to take on but they did it with aplomb. Excellent all around.
