Atlantic Aquasport is a dive shop offering scuba instruction, gear, and a great community. The owners are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, creating a warm, friendly, and non-intimidating atmosphere. They provide exceptional service and expertise, with a focus on comfort and safety in the water. They offer NAUI certification, which is recognized around the world, and provide excellent and knowledgeable instruction. Their teachers are passionate about safety but also make sure everyone has fun. They offer one-on-one instruction that is very supportive and focus on a terrific approach for all ages, including kids. The training results in excellent abilities and ease in the water that is highly praised by dive professionals. The shop has a dive pool on site and lots of equipment available to rent or buy. The staff is very helpful in finding gear that properly fits, providing thorough explanations, and offering an excellent exchange policy. They go on group dives every Saturday morning complete with a cookout after. Located just minutes off the highway, it is a great shop worth the detour for top-notch equipment and a wonderful experience for beginners and seasoned divers alike.
Great shop, it was a lot of fun to check out. I was a bit overwhelmed picking a mask with all the options; but, Barb was a huge help narrowing a set down. I also grabbed a new set of fins, much more comfortable than my old set. I'll definitely be back, it was just a few minutes off 95, worth the detour.

We brought two families (5 young kids) for snorkel lessons and some basic gear before our trip. Don and Steve let us take over the store for so long and were so nice and patient!
