If I could give more than 5 stars, I would gladly give them. I moved to NH and needed a yarn store. They welcomed me with open arms and helped me order yarns that were either low in stock or not in stock.The store has a very accepting vibe and the employees are amazing. I've since moved to another state and I continue to order my yarns for family and friend projects exclusively from Smitten Yarn Co.

I highly recommend visiting Smitten Yarn Co. It is an elegant shop with amazing displays and many choices of high quality yarn. Not only is this an amazing shop with high quality yarn, but the customer service is top notch too. This is my favorite yarn shop now.

I ordered yarn from this store online on 5/22/2022. I reached out after it had not shipped within the stated timeframe and heard back once, on 5/27/2022 from Dawn that it would be “looked into” but have heard nothing since (today is 6/2). I’ve called the company and it goes to voicemail and the voicemail is full. I’ve submitted a dispute to my credit card company for the charges. I would HIGHLY hesitate on purchasing from this store online.

My favorite LYS: a beautifully restored Victorian house in downtown Rochester, where the family owners provide a welcoming and collegial atmosphere to complement their beautiful yarn selection and all of the right tools for knitting.
I particularly appreciate the classes which are offered in a small group setting. In a few hours, I learned how to knit a hat, thanks to the owners' expertise and patience!

Gorgeous, cozy store with a wide variety of high quality yarn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a great variety of patterns and projects for all ages. I will definitely be back to take one of their classes!
