This vet has been sold to a company in Waltham MA .THEY ARE NO LONGER A SAFE VET. I have reported them to the NH animal safety. I was in having my dogs eye looked at for the third time because they couldn't cure the infection. When inquired about the dog program I had utilized for 11 years and the 3% added on the credit cards fee all of which were new the vet tech left and sent another vet tech in to tell us we were FIRED. I made the first vet tech cry ? I was talking to her in a very business like way. She told us we would have to leave(?) I asked her to treat my dogs eye which we waited 4 days for an appointment. No get out. When I asked for an office manager she said she was not in. So not only did the new owners steel money from us but also refused to treat my sick dog. When I asked to speak to the vet she came out and called the police. I am in process of taking this situation to the new owner and I will follow up on this thread DONT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE-CORPORATION OWNED COMPLETE DISASTER

I have been bringing my pets, 2 cats and a dog, to AHC for 15 years and have had no issues at all. They are always accommodating and friendly and I will happily continue to bring my pets to AHC for all their needs.

If I could give them zero star review I would. They have gone extremely down hill since the dr sold the practice. They barely answer the phones, they screw up appointments, they are extremely rude and we have had nothing but problems with them. They don't give a crap about your animals and if you even complain to them about the staff, they call you verbally abusive. I know they are reckless with the animals because I know a few people who have lost pets due to their care. Do not go see them!!!

I tried out 8 different vets in the area before settling on Animal Health Center. I have been a client for almost 20 years now. I am a die-hard dog fanatic, active in dog sports (agility, obedience), well-read and educated about dog-related topics, and I do a lot of holistic stuff with my pets as well (I have a separate vet to guide me in that realm, but I've appreciated the AHC vets keeping an open mind about it). It's been important to me that I feel heard and respected, and I get that at AHC. We don't always have to agree, but I value the opinion of the vets here and I feel that they always have the best interest of my pets at heart. I have also found their prices to be competitive and the vets always willing to consider options that don't necessitate spending tons of money on tests or treatments. They have also been super responsive, by phone or email, to any questions or requests I've had. I believe most of their staff has also had training in "fear free" methods of working with pets, and that is reflected in their office set up and the way they interact with my pets. Choosing a vet can be a very personal decision, but I feel comfortable in recommending that you give AHC a try!

I really liked this place. I called one morning concerned about a wound I found on my dog's leg and they were very accomodating and had us seen that morning. The doctor was great, very thorough and didn't push antibiotics or anything extra but cleaned out and inspected the wound with follow up instructions. My pup was petrified and the vet and tech were both very sweet and understanding trying to help her settle down. They were reasonably priced, and even followed up with an email a couple of days later asking how my dog was doing.

I've been coming on and off to this place for eight years My yellow lab injured his leg I got 2 opinions in Ma both said to break it and reset it - this place told me to let him rest for a long time will heal on its own and it did. My Tyson was like new. He passed away due to cancer now I have a Pittbull rescue baby they treat him like any other dog. Also they don't overcharge me - my Husky likes them too. I have to drive 1.2h to get there but it is worth it to me. The staff are friendly the Husky enjoys the ride. For shots I go to the Merwin clinic in Alston Ma but for anything else ( even surgery) I would recommend this clinic anytime.

The people who work at the Animal Health Center are there for both the Animal and their families. They are very friendly and my dog iis not afraid of them during sick appt and wellness visits. The Vet and her assistance are awesome. They treat Bandit with their gentleness and it shows on my dog. Me and Bandit love them immensely. Thank you for your service and your friendship.
