Our first time experience was excellent. Shelby Workman groomed our three goldens. She took special care to meeting their individual needs including our boy with elbow dysplasia. Shelby provided a full body check noting which might have skin reactions to certain food products. Grooming was not rushed and she took the time to discuss each dogs hair and skin conditions at the time ofpick up. We are new to the area and very happy with Hair of The Dog and have already rebooked with Shelby.

Duke my Golden Retriever have been going to HOD for as far as I can remember. Duke is 12 and 77 lbs. She is so gentle with him and spends a few minutes with him, talking and petting him before she grooms him. We went today just to get his nails trimmed and we bought a 2 yr old Golden to get him a trim and his nails cut. It was this little guy's first trip to a groomer. He did great. Linda has a way withDogs. I highly recommend Hair of the Dog in Raymind NH, ask for Linda. She is fabulous

Beautiful job on my Shihtzu, and he’s only there for the short time he’s groomed so much less stressful on him.

I have had poodles for 40 years and Terri does a fantastic job. Fast efficient and the dog's love her. I just had my three poodles done and they look fabulous they smell good too LOL

S’mores loves his spa days at hair of the dog! Staff is so friendly. They take such good care of s’mores and are very patient! He always walks out feeling like a million bucks!

I recently adopted a rescue, Teddy that was in desperate need of grooming, as he was filthy and matted. Our regular groomer, Nancy was unable to fit him in, so she suggested Hair of The Dog. I was thrilled when Melissa called to say they had a cancellation and could fit him in. I was so impressed with everyone! The staff was professional and truly cared about the pets they were caring for. Teddy immediately relaxed and settled in. I was shocked when I went back to pick him up! He looked like a new dog! He smelled wonderful, the matted hair was gone and he had a new zip in his step. I can't say enough about this business ! They are truly exceptional! A big thank you to you and your staff for your kindness, and expertise in making Teddy look so handsome!

My dogs have been going to Melissa and her team for years. I’ve had big dogs, fluffy dogs, little dogs, and dogs with severe anxiety. They have all loved Melissa, and it’s easy to see why. She’s a dog person through and through, and she cares about her clients. She’s super friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Everyone there is.Dog grooming can be expensive, but I have always felt like Hair of the Dog is an excellent value. My dogs get groomed properly the first time, every time. Everyone I know who uses them says the same thing. I don’t even tell Melissa what to do for my dogs anymore — she just knows to do whatever needs to be done and I’m never surprised by the bill. She never tries to upsell me or anything, and I appreciate that!I wouldn’t dream of bringing my pups anywhere else. They’re the best!

Went in with my two corgis Felix and Faen, honestly expecting them to be a pain, but to my surprise they did great. Melissa did a great job and you can tell she cares for the dogs that she works on! Definitely will be back on a regular basis!

Totally recommend for sure! We always love bringing our Golden Retriever fur baby here for her spa hour! These ladies do such a great job and we wouldn’t go anywhere else! Great service and always so friendly!
