“The staff is always kind and helpful and thorough with explanation when we have questions or concerns. My dog was very nervous the first time we dropped him off for his treatment but thereafter he was cool as a cucumber and totally comfortable and at ease with the entire process. He goes in there like a boss now and absolutely adores the nurses and Dr Kow!: ) This little guy is doing so well at nearly 16 years of age even with the complications that have brought us to Port City and given us hope and much more time than we would have ever had otherwise. “We couldn’t be more pleased with the professionalism at Lafayette Animal Hospital. From our first call to schedule an appointment they did the legwork of calling our last 3 vet officers to get our dogs records. Our first visit with Dr. Abbott she was both thorough and compassionate. She explained everything and presented us with her plan for our allergy pup as well as going over the cost prior to charging us for anything. Follow up was equally as great with daily checks. Blue was definitely BLUE prior to his visit but after having his brother Chunk with him for moral support and sneaking kisses to the ladies he was immediately much more comfortable. So pleased with the care we’re receiving. Thank you Dr. Abbott for taking such good care of our big “puppy”. Recheck in 3 weeks and our packs looking forward to it!”
