What a great store! Love all the local items, especially the covers for light switches (we have the loon one). Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for your Portsmouth visit! I’m going again next time I’m in town.

What a fabulous store! I love the array of eclectic goods—truly something for everyone! I also found the prices to be extremely reasonable for artisan and hand-crafted items.The woman who was behind the counter was pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. She offered to remove tags and package my gifts without me having to ask—service that may seem small, but in this day and age, I find it rarely happens anymore.I will certainly be back to shop for other gifts and for myself throughout the year!

Beautiful shop with locally-made goods and, safe to say, it’s my favorite in Portsmouth. Honestly, I had a hard time not walking out of here without a depleted bank account! They have a great selection of art, crafts, gifts, and home decor. And the woman behind the counter (possibly the owner?) was lovely! We had a nice chat about all things New England. Will be back!

Local Anchor has amazing items made by local artists, as well as small independently owned businesses in the US. If you're in Portsmouth NH, you have to stop by! They have everything from Pottery, art prints, magnets, New England apparel, and so much more! I bought so much stuff!

Don’t let the description art gallery turn you away. This is a great place to get non-commercial memorabilia of your stay in Portsmouth. There are so many artist creations in this place you could spend an hour or so just looking at everything. All of the creations are local artists. You can get anything from a keychain made from a fork to handpainted bowls or artwork for your walls. They also have an extensive collection of bird houses. These aren’t just ordinary bird houses put together with a few pieces of wood. They are works of art in themselves. You must stop on by this place before you exit portsmouth.

Nice local artist gifts and art work. Everything from prints to wall hangings to magnets. Picked up a few things, staff was very nice.
