We thought we had a slow leak in one of our tires. But after Sullivan Tire techs removed the wheel and tire and cleaned the rim, no leak was found. And ... no charge for their work! That is what I call "excellent customer service!"

Not much to say. The battery on my car was over the hill and I needed an immediate appointment. I called at 8. I had to call twice as there was no answer the first time, but after that, was able to schedule a time the same morning. I arrived, and the paperwork was concluded quickly and I waited about 2 hours for the job to be finished. The only other thing that was out of the ordinary was that the first estimate of costs had to be revised upward a few minutes later. Car seems fine; and I was done by 2 pm. Returning to have battery work done next week on our other car.

I had a headlight that was out. O'Reilly offers free bulb installation, but the employee there was rude and unable to leave the store. I bought the bulb and drove straight to Sullivan. I showed up on the Monday before Thanksgiving. The parking area was packed so I was feeling discouraged that I was not going to be able to get my service done. The manager at Sullivan was so friendly. He got right to work on my headlight and had me on my way within 15 minutes. The shop was fully booked, so if it weren't for his going above and beyond, I would still be getting pulled over by Portsmouth PD. The manager was kind, patient, and pleasant to work with. This 15 minute interaction has made me a lifelong Sullivan loyalist, and I will recommend this shop to anyone I know who is looking. See you in January for my inspection!

A life saver! While on vacation we discovered a large bolt had become lodged in our tire. I called all around the Portsmouth area and finally reached Bob at Sullivan Tire. I explained the problem and that I was traveling with my wife and two young children. Bob encouraged me to bring the car right over and they would get it fixed. Forty-five minutes and only a few dollars later, the kind, professional folks at Sullivan Tire had the repair complete and had us back on the road enjoying our vacation! Thank you for taking the stress out of a difficult situation.

Great price. Only frustration was that I had an appointment time with the expectation that the work would be completed by a certain time, it took much longer then expected.

Jeff and Dale are extremely customer focused-- they are always honest, prompt and amazingly friendly. I'd send my mom here with zero worry. Great shop, great staff, great work.

I use these guys almost exclusively for my car service. My car just died after 17 years and they have helped me keep it going for that time. They've always been honest and I've never felt like they are trying to upsell me.

My wife and I love Sullivan Tire for servicing and maintaining both our cars. Dale, Jeff, and the rest of the crew at the Portsmouth location always do a super job and are nice and friendly to boot. A winning combination for us.

We needed an emergency replacement on a punctured tire which was the result of a three car accident the night before. To complicate matters even more, we were scheduled to move out of our condo within two days. I called Sullivan Tire right before they closed and asked if I could have our vehicle towed to them. I spoke with Dale and explained our situation. He OK'd the tow and had a new tire on the vehicle by the next morning. Reading this with a fI've star rating, one might ask, "so why five stars, as they were simply doing their job?"Our insurance company requested photos of the damaged tire and we asked the team at Sullivan to take photos and email them to us, so we could forward them to our insurance company. Dale, Jeff and Kenny spent additional time from an obvious busy schedule to accommodate our out of the ordinary request. They fit us in with a last minute request on a very busy day and they did so politely and professionally, that's why the fI've stars.Great team at Sullivan's in Portsmouth!

You guys rock in every sense of the word. We went in thinking we had a flat tire, thou we had more work than we had anticipated, they explained everything professionally and got the work done in record time. This is not the first time you have given us your attention but did what was needed and only that.Will let all my friends know how much you are greatly appreciated. Dale, Jeff, Kenny and the mechanics team at Sullivan have always been incredibly accommodating for my automobile needs. I own a few vehicles and they have maintained them for 5 years now. Yesterday(Friday) morning one of my vehicles had a flat and I required immediate attention as we needed the vehicle for the weekend. They were able to fit me into their incredibly busy schedule to take care of the tire as well as bring me up to date on the oil service and miscellaneous items that were needed and complete it by the end of the day so I would have it for the weekend. I highly recommend Sullivan Tire in Portsmouth!

I'm wary of big box stores so normally would have avoided Sullivan in Portsmouth. Thank god I was in a pinch and decided to give them a shot. They have a sign behind the counter that says "treat all customers like family" and truly honor it. I needed 4 new tires and they inquired about my driving habits, how far my commutes are, and after hearing that I have a property in northern NH and commute to Boston for law school it triggered them to address tires with high snow performance rating. After asking them about the most expensive tires, the guy was honest and showed me tires at a lesser price that he swears perform better with my needs. He offered the insurance option that replaces a tire for free for the lifetime of the tire. He said he wasn't trying to be a salesman and that it was simply a really good deal. I believed him. My drive is so smooth and quiet now, I couldn't believe what a difference those tires make. A month later I got a flat from a screw and Sullivan (although insanely busy) squeezed me in same day because he "didn't like the idea of me not having my car." They were able to repair the tire and sent me on my way in about an hour, all at no cost to me. Sullivan tires in Portsmouth restores my faith in humanity!
