On Pleasant Street, how appropriate, because that's how the staff is here. Wonderful gourmet kitchen items such as teas, jelly, jam, Italian pasta, and sauce. Kitchen gadgets that make food prep so much easier. Gift baskets make for a terrific gift for that hard to buy for cook or dinner party host.

What an awesome store! We stopped in here while visiting Portsmouth, the staff was so nice and the store was very well stocked! Could've bought one of everything!

So, still no free samples (you have to go 10 miles up the road to their York, ME flagship store to get those), but the store is packed with special gift packages for the holidays and lots of sale items. I got my usual Farmhouse chutney to make the family Christmas Day cheeseball.

This is the largest Stonewall store that I know of. They have very nice jams.

The only reason we don’t give 5 stars is the interaction with the older woman we dealt with. Zero personable skills and we had to engage her which is the opposite you want when you shop in specialty shoppes. Regardless we were there for the product which didn’t disappoint. We got 2 shopping bagfuls of things and were happy to be able to have gone. It’s a very eclectic mix of things from ovenware to mixes to curated mustards and jams to ready to eat bakery items. Worth a stop in but check the days and hours first because they don’t have shoppe hours every day.

A lot of items here that please my palate: jams with unique combinations of ingredients and savory sources. Expensive but worth it.

Always have a good experience at their stores. Amazing aioli's and I love the black bean salsa. We go there twice a month. They also have a large variety of gluten free items for my wife.

I really liked the appearance of the store! In my mind, it fits downtown Portsmouth. I don't cook as much as I use to, but, I found the boxed ingredient mixes, especially for making your own doughnuts interesting. All sorts of jams, jellies, sauces and marinades. Crackers and pasta, gift baskets and other items available. Associates were great ?! Contactless payment available.I recommend a visit!

So many awesome things. Check the sales shelf out back. We got bada bing rum cherries at serious markdown. Always love their tea towels and their horseradish aioli is the best!!

We always love going into this Stonewall Kitchen Portsmouth company store. They have so many products to choose from and lots of gift items. They don't have the loads of free samples that they customarily do because of COVID, but things will hopefully get back to normal soon. Their storefront is always beautifully decorated, especially during the holidays. Their dips, sauces, and jams are some of the best ever (especially their Wild Maine Blueberry jam and sea salt caramel sauce), and I always use their recipes and chutney to make holiday cheeseballs. Service here has always been very friendly and warm. They usually have great sales around Christmas.

This is one of the company stores. They have a wide selection of preserved foods - jams, jellies, salsas, mixes, etc. Many of them are seconds at a reduced price for minor things like a misaligned label! Also candles and other kitchen paraphernalia. Worth a visit!

This is it! The catalogue in person! How can you refuse. My family and I are big fans of the pancake and scone mixes, as well as the soup blends. We always stock up on these items when we are in the area and this week was no different. We even got some tasty salsas. The prices are not cheap but you're getting top quality and very tasty products. The staff is always so friendly, polite, and warm. There are parking lots in the area but very limited on street parking. Feel free to wander in and spend a few dollars. You won't be disappointed.

During an afternoon trip to the Market Square area, I got a parking space on Pleasant Street right near Stonewall Kitchen Portsmouth Company Store. I’d not been there in awhile, so stopped in to see what was new and what was on sale. Of course, there were no samples of anything due to COVID-19 protocols. Since half the fun of the visit is the samples, something was missing. The experience was diminished. There wasn’t much on sale ~ only a few items on a rack up back. That was another disappointment. This location is much smaller than the flagship store in York and the company store in The Ridge Marketplace in Rochester. So, for this visit to this Stonewall Kitchen location, I rate my experience at 3.0. Maybe, when things become more normal, my opinion will be upgraded.
