Awesome shop for gifts and souvenirs. A great hidden gem for salts, lotions, hand scrubs, bath bombs and more. Their hand cream is perfectly moisturizing and not oily, and has been great for my dry skin. I am definitely considering ordering more online once I run out.

I travel to this gem specifically my number one stop before dinner! I’m in love, in love with the lotions and salt scrub and the clay mask. I have KP annoying bumps on my arm and my children had on their cheeks. The clay mask and salt scrub completely took away these annoying bumps and I’ve tried many expensive products and prescriptions!! By far the best products well worth it and they last for a while. My skin is like butter. My only con is I wish you didn’t close early ❤️

They are always above and beyond friendly and ship so quickly! We are popcorn addicts and sprinkle the salts with butter on our fresh popcorn! Always thrilled to buy from them and will continue to be a customer!

Cool little shop to spend 15 minutes. Lots of great things to buy as gifts. Some very pretty salt (rocks?) to see.

Love the this place so much!!!..The product I bought, the lavender salt scrub (I fell in love with!!?) I love how you could test all the products there, and the gentleman that was working was awesome, perfect customer service and actually gave me a free Himalayan salt rock, because it was too small to sell... five stars

Strolling around Market Street one afternoon, I turned down the Commercial Alley to see what was there. I came upon The Salt Cellar. It was downstairs from Hazel, a store selling accessories, clothing, and jewelry for women. At the bottom of the stairs, an old cast iron wood-burning kitchen stove caught my eye. It was quite an antique and most likely from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. It was in very good condition, too. I was greeted promptly and offered assistance if needed. Browsing the flavor-infused salts for cooking, I liked the Applewood Smoked Sea Salt, Icelandic Arctic Thyme, Peruvian Pink Artisan Salt, and Ginger Root Sea Salt at $8.00 each. The Bath & Spa Collection had a number of interesting items infused with Dead Sea salts rich in minerals that reportedly help relieve symptoms of rashes, eczema, psoriasis, itching, and other skin irritations. Items that I liked in that section included the Dead Sea Hand Cream at $25.00, Lavender Salt Scrub at $35.00, Dead Sea Soap at $8.00, Lemon Body Butter at $15.00. There was bins with big chunks of salt at $5.00 each. There were too many things I liked to settle on just one. After consideration, I'll return for one or two. The display shelving was well organized. The young fellow at the register was very nice and very knowledgeable. There was a pamphlet about the company's Salt Vault in the Portland, Maine store. It offered 40-minute therapeutic spa treatments. I rate The Salt Cellar at 5.0 and recommend a visit. If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below.

Very cool basement shop. Salts were fairly priced when combined to form the 3 pack specials. Lotions and other cosmetics were overpriced. Used their spiciest salt to prepare a steak, it was fantastic.
