Quaint little ? bookstore with a section for teens and children. Old fashion typewriters are for sale and the owner even will repair old typewriters. I heard that typewriters are making a comeback so if you plan on being a ?''Paperback Writer ", this bookstore will be a great ? place to start! Beatle's music was playing when I visited.The man who was working the day I visited was very friendly and helpful. We talked about the history of the weather ☁️ of Portsmouth.

I have taken books to them for years. Derms as if no one knows what's going on in there. I brought in 12 books for credit. They " took " 9 and I wanted 3 to be returned to me. Got a call saying my order was ready for pick up. I told the lady I DID NOT order any books. Now they can't find my books for credit and any money I have on already ( $37) they will not give to me. I will never do business with them ever again.

Very welcoming and helpful staff! The lady at the desk helped several people while were in the store. Super cute store! Prices are fair for used books!

RiverRun Bookstore is a terrific bookstore in downtown Portsmouth. The owner & employees are very friendly and helpful. It's not a massive store but they can get their hands on whatever you're looking for!

Good selection of new and previously released titles in a smaller, two room store. There is a decent Young Adult section too, which can be hard to find in smaller stores.

RiverRun (yes, there's a capital R in the middle of the name) Bookstore has been in Portsmouth for decades. They have a great selection of newly-published books, best sellers, classics, literature, books on travel and history, children's books, etc. You can also order books online and they offer a link to order E-books and audiobooks. The bookstore has two rooms separated by a unique book-lined doorway (see photo).

Quaint and lovely bookstore right off of the square in downtown Portsmouth. Always welcoming with fresh displays and a good variety of books for everyone.
