Kristian Hardman at Portsmouth Car Clinic has been next-level helpful. My car is 15 years old (only 130k miles) and he’s given me great advice about whether I should invest more money into maintaining it or buying new. I was super surprised he wasn’t trying to convince me/sell me on fixing it with them given the mileage of the car - but to evaluate my options given the age/shape of the car. That’s a sign of a trustworthy mechanic when they’re not trying to make money off of you, but give you sound advice. Ethics ? THANK YOU!

I was from out-of-state and stumbled onto this place to do a last min buyer's inspection for a used car. I was so pleasantly surprised. Brian was extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. He gave me a full walk around, and shared insightful tips on how to best maintain this specific model. Super honest and patient. If only I live nearby and could take all my cars to Brian for life!

I have been a customer of Brian's for over ten years, and have never been disappointed in the service, professionalism, and ease of communication. The team has always been responsive to my needs, both in terms of service on my vehicles and my schedule. Brian has even given me rides when I was unable to get transportation to and from the shop. Portsmouth Car Clinic is not the cheapest place in town, but it is the best, and I never worry about being charged for work that is not necessary or overcharged for work that must be done. When I moved to New Hampshire, I was in need of a mechanic. Being new to the area, I thought it may be difficult to find an honest and reputable shop. A friend referred me to Brian. I was impressed with him and his staff. Since moving here, I have taken my cars to Brian for about 15 years. Everyone is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and most of all, honest.
