They did an awful job on the repair of my bumper. They scratched and chipped the new bumper when putting it back on. The entire bumper its self is actually crooked and has huge gaps. The best part is they just cut prices off the frame that the plastic attaches too instead of replacing it. They had my truck for over two months in the shop for the “repair”. I’ve spoke with the manager a couple times with no resolution.

I would highly recommend Portsmouth Auto Body Center, Isaac over saw things and was great to work with, and explained everything that was done.
Very happy with everything that was done.

Don't be fooled by all the good reviews like I was. I brought my SUV there for small scratches on the bumper. Nothing major, but they were bothering me. I was told it would take 7-10 days to repair. It's been almost a month. No updates, no nothing. I called them today, and they still can't give me the completion date. On what planet does it take a month to repair bumper scratches??? The receptionists are nice, and the estimation process is straightforward, but the completion time was beyond inaccurate, and communication has been poor.

Brought my car in for a small scratch and repair. Was initially told when I brought it for estimate it would be done in a day. Because of work schedule and it being covered by insurance I got a rental car to drop car off night before and pick up next day. When I went to drop my car off at the shop I mentioned grabbing it the next day and they said that no repairs are done in a day. That no one would tell me that and that it would take 3-5 days. Well I’m glad I got the rental car because 3-5 days turned into 3 weeks. I had to call and email the estimator multiple times asking for an update. He either wouldn’t get back to me or reply hours later. Management got involved and was again told I was lying and I would never be told by an estimator a time limit that they are trained to not do that. Well not only was I told once I was told twice and then told by management that it would be done within a certain time. I understand they were down technicians and the technicians that were there did a great job on my car and I might have had a better experience if it wasn’t for the customer service.

Very happy with the work I got done. My car was finished sooner than quoted, plus my vehicle looks brand new after picking it up! Don't be scared off by any of the bad reviews this company might have gotten. I was overly impressed by this auto body shop compared to others I've been to the past few years! ?? Great customer service, communication, and work! Thank you!

Had my car for 7 weeks after initially saying the repairs should be done in 3-4 weeks, including several days at the end of the period when they said they had communicated with our insurance company and the insurance company had not received any messages. One of the worst service experiences I have ever had.

Horrible.... needed a basic part replaced (front lip). Received an est quote on the spot, which was followed up by an official quote requesting a signature a few days later. I signed and have been waiting for the part to come in but after about 1 or 2 weeks of waiting, I received an email from the manager asserting the part has not even been ordered. Additionally, he is not honoring the agreed upon price! Stay away from this place, just Horrible ethics....

hey so my boyfriend got his car fixed here, the receptionists were really nice. but the workers said they had 55 hours of work (he slid during a snowstorm and a tree knocked off his right rearview mirror), but had his car in the shop for 3 months. his bank account got absolutely drained from paying for rentals. when he got his car back, the gas light was on, there was paint drips, there was moisture in one of the back light, there was weird goop all over his interior rearview, and they removed all of his exterior decals for no reason. there was also tape or sticker residue on one of the back lights.his rotors are also caked with rust from the car not being driven. overall he spent almost 3.5 grand on rentals. maybe im complaining too much and i hope this business doesnt get notified every time there is a review, but im upset for him considering how much money has been spent, his insurance covered what they said was 7k in damages. hes bringing the car back AGAIN to get the back light replaced because of the moisture, and so they can take the goop off of the fabric of the roof and out of the nooks and crannies of the mirror. his brakes are so bad now. he has to floor the brakes to come to a complete stop.Services: Painting

I was in a car accident and took my car to Portsmouth Auto Body! They were amazing right from the start. They were great with communicating with me every step of the way. They were patient with me as I was going back and forth with an insurance company. When I got my car back it was all fixed and cleaner than when I dropped it off! Highly recommend Portsmouth Auto Body!

I had my Forester towed here for some extensive body work after an accident. It took some time for my insurance to send out their appraiser, but eventually they came back with very similar estimates as the body shop's. It was there for two months, which I was told was due to parts delays, so I can't fault the shop there. However, when I would call the front desk for updates, I was told more than once that they were still waiting on parts, but on pressing them to check with the GM, the parts had already been delivered and installed, and the case notes were not being properly updated. On a positive note, they were flexible when I had time constraints on vehicle pickup.After all was said and done, and I picked up my vehicle, there was an issue with vehicle noise/vibration. While frustrating, this may have been unrelated to the initial accident, as it was on the opposite side. I can't say for sure either way. They did pick my vehicle up from a nearby location and dropped it off when the work was done (fortunately covered under warranty by the Subaru dealership), which was going above and beyond in my opinion.
