I have been a member of this gym since 2021. I have been to other gyms and I believe this the best gym in the area for the value!

I would absolutely give this gym 4+ stars if it wasn’t infested by lunatic high school kids. They have no concept of gym etiquette screaming, running around with their shirts and shoes off just being complete goofballs without a shred of empathy. These children should be under adult supervision, or the gym owner needs to increase the membership age to 19yrs old. Unlike these kids who have mommy and daddy pay their memberships I pay good money and expect some type of gym management. Forgot to mention they let their friends in the back weight room door, so stealing from you as well.

I have been going to the downtown location for almost 5 years now. It's exactly what you need in a gym and the staff and Trainor's are great!

This place is really a rip off. The equipment in the weight room is ancient. Whenever anything breaks down they put an out of order sign on it and it never gets fixed. The steam room in the Mens locker room has been out of order for well over a year now. There is absolutely no trainer or anyone working there to help you. The only employees you'll ever see is someone working at the front desk, who barely acknowledges you, and occasionally the cleaning man( who is very nice but can't really advise you ). I had been a member there since they opened and they suddenly almost tripled my monthly dues. They say that everyone is paying $79 per month but that is absolutely not true. I personally know several people who are paying much less after they complained about their dues going up so much. Didn't work for me though. They are blatantly discriminatory and, in my opinion , deserve to fail. I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

They reward their members who stayed through COVID with an increase in membership price from 60-80 with a sneaky spam email. We get nothing in return with this price increase, so the sad assumption is they are forcing your hand to stay open. Hate to see it.

Overall not impressed with Seacoast the last year during this pandemic. I will outline both good and bad :Good-Newer equipment. Especially cardio room and turf area.-Walking distance for anyone living in or near downtown Portsmouth-Young professional crowd in the evening-Indoor turf trainingBad-Small and broken up spaces. 5 people in any area seems packed.-Staff is all over the place. Often older staff working who know zero about the fitness industry....or younger who can barely lift their head to welcome you.-Very relaxed mask/cleaning rules. Countless staff with mask off and way too many members with masks off. Never really see anyone cleaning except the sole maintenance guy. Highly advise you clean anything you use BEFORE you touch it.-Constant political shows on the TV's.-Poor music selection 24/7

I just want to say that I am thankful for all of the hard work and care that Seacoast sports has been putting in this past year to ensure the gym remains a safe place to workout and continue to build a community. I am great full to everyone who works there and the members who continue to follow the cdc guidelines with a positive attitude ! Thank you for all your smiles and hard work! Also the classes here are amazing!

I love this gym, I have been a member at Seacoast Sports Club for 6 years. I also teach Spin and teach pilates through balanced body in Boston, as well as sub in many facility's. This is by far the cleanest gym I've worked in as well as they make sure your credits as a fitness instructor are up to date. . I just sub there due to my work schedule. It's a top notch gym with a ton of classes with great certified instructors and personal trainers. If you want a clean gym that legit has top of the line equipment and trainers this is the gym for you.

I recently signed up with seacoast Sports Clubs, and the staff is so great. Taiese, who signed us up and toured us around, was so knowledgeable and friendly.

I've been going to the downtown location, on Brewery Lane, and it's great! Large, tons of equipment, and not crowded in the mornings. I'm able to do my cross fit workouts without having to wait for any areas to free up. Margaret at the front desk is also really helpful!

The west end location was never really clean and didn't offer much. You don't get cell service in the basement and the wifi never worked so it was always a silent workout. I will say, greenleaf was a lot better but not worth the cost. They should have a simple plan that is $30 a month where you just pick one of the locations and choose not to participate in any of the classes. As it stands, it is not worth the monthly cost + Reg Fee+ Annual Fee

One of the best gyms in the area, has every class you can think of, great staff, all the strength training equipment you could need, plus a huge functional training room. This is your friendly neighborhood gym where you truly feel like you are a part of a community committed to health. This is my happy place :)
