Manager of this store # 3773 Eddie Hernandez fired me for not working a shift in which I had a court order to see my son. Told me to turn in keys or work. Week before didn't believe I was sick made me work with a sick pregnant woman and we had to actually close the whole store on a busy black Sunday at 2pm. Yells at everyone about things that are his fault as he's never there. He can't handle his employees which in turn leads to poor customer service or none at all

We just completed our one on one puppy training class with Johny. He was very knowledgeable and patient with our crazy pup. We learned so much over the course of of just about a month. We look forward to taking another one of Johny's classes! I would highly recommend this class to any new pup mom or dad.

I went in to have my dog groomed. She is a loving little blind Bichon. I did not feel the woman who greeted us was at all interested in grooming her. She was curt and irritable. She asked to look at her legs. Little Vickie had a couple of small hair burrs on her left hind leg. She refused to groom her with the burrs. Hmm... isn't that what pet groomers do, groom your dog. I told her she could work around the hair burrs if she couldn't clean them up. Nope "company policy". The manager came over and had the same stoic personality, "company policy" no can do, even with my consent to leave the little hair burr alone. Ridiculous go to a private groomer. These big box stores are insensitive and all align with the silliness big box businesses brings to the table. They honestly do not care.

Went the other day to return a pinch collar i had bought for my dog. I got there a few minutes early and waited outside until they opened. THREE employees came to the door and asked if i was picking up a dog. I said no, just here to return something. They both apologized and said that i would have to wait until exactly 10:30AM to come in then. Seems stupid, but fine, whatever. So at 10:30AM they open the doors and I go the cashier to return the collar. The lady tells me, oh sorry, no returns during COVID. ummmmm i was just waiting outside and told three employees what i was here for and none of them thought to say oh sorry we aren't do that right now might want to head home??? Stupid place - think a little.....place is a rip off anyways - just order your shiz on chewy.

The store staff are wonderful. I'm 70, and Petco has no senior hours, and corporate changed the store hours to 10:30. I just cancelled all my repeat deliveries, and will take my business elsewhere. I get out and do my errands at Market Basket at 6 and Walmart at 7 to avoid exposing myself to Covid. Thanks for nothing Petco corporate. Raising millions with their IPO and treat customers poorly. Hello Chewy!!!!!!

Recently purchased a blue harness as we were going to get a male puppy. We got a female and tried to return the blue brand new non used harness WITH RECEIPT! Petco cashier said we could not return the harness! (We didn't even have the puppy yet!) and it gets worse. I reached out in a review, they replied with their "I'm sorry" generic response but absolutely NO follow up or just go to your store and get refund/ credit. Nothing! You will not gain customers or keep customers with such poor customer service! You can bet PetSmart and Chewy do not operate this way!

I was super directional and just needed a box of Ever Clean litter before we headed home. What I did notice is the store is very clean with wide aisles and clear sight lines so I could easily spot where I needed to go. It does always crack me up that every Petco has a roped off entry to the register as if they're expecting a rush for tickets. The young woman behind the counter was upbeat and polite. Prices are in line with what I pay in California.

Yesterday I dropped my family dog off for a grooming at your location and a very Trumatic event happened. My mom and I were at the Vida Cantina nearby having a margarita while we waited for her grooming to finish. We got a call from them assuming it would be the call saying that she was ready. Note Daisy, our dog, has been going here for a long time and this is not her first grooming with you so you know who she is and you have experience with her.My mom when she picked up the phone was told by the manager of the location that Daisy was being rushed to the emergency room but they would not tell us what was happening. Not even if it was serious or minor. Just left my mom and I am complete fear and confusion as we dropped our drinks and ran to the car, racing to the emergency room. When we got there we were told that she cut a "cut". What you can see in the pictures is absolutely not a freaking cut. You guys took a chunk of her ear off, just figuring her ear for the rest of her life. You are not charging us for the grooming and you're not charging us for the emergency bills, of course, but to be honest that's not enough. This was very Trumatic because you would not tell us anything and at the same time you downscales her actual injury. Imagine having a chunk cut out of your own ear lobe. Daisy is the puppy of my family and especially my little sister who got her as a gift. She's been in tears all night and all morning with what happened. You guys need to make this right and do more than just cover the cost that you obviously already have to cover. A good business would be giving hundreds of dollars in gift cards so that we can spoiled Daisy with tons of toys and treats. That would be the right thing to do. Please contact me if you're going to make it right. I had to give her Xanax last night for her to calm down. WE WERE GIVEN NO EXPLANATION as to what ever happened or how it even happened. Daisy is a member of our family so this really hurts!

Neither of the two employees had masks on. I asked one where I could find some dog medication, and I read the name of it from my phone. He walked up to me and leaned in closely to read off my phone, which was uncomfortable and clueless, but okay - I just stepped away and said thanks and kept moving. But then I got to the register and the woman there was talking around the piece of plexiglass and repeatedly wiping her nose with the palm of her hand and jamming her fingers around on her nose and sniffling like she had a runny nose she was cleaning off with her hands. Then she handed my bag to me! It honestly seemed like a bad joke. I got to my car and then home and disinfected everything she touched and I touched. Why have these employees not been trained? Why do they seem completely unaware that there's a global pandemic happening? That came across as so completely inconsiderate and reckless to the customers in the store, who were all wearing masks. I love the groomers they have there, but I will not be going back there until we have a vaccine. Whoever manages this store needs to do some serious training with the employees - that was really disturbing.

I called and made an appointment for my Pomeranian to get a haircut. ( I tried them last summer and it was too short, but figured I would give them a second chance). After driving 40 minutes to get there, they requested his updated shot list on the phone, which I brought. ( the dog always gets anxious and naturally pants when he goes for a cut or the vet.). It's like " he knows " lol.Upon Arrival:The girl said " ok, last year shows we cut it to short ", I said " yes but I realize it was, but this time that length or1one clipper guard up" .She started kind of whispering to her co- worker, then said " is he on any medication " I responded " Thyroid med. , but the lowest dose", she said ohhh... we can't take him then !!!!!In a former 25 year barber, and an 11 year nurse, I responded " I have never heard of such a thing ".Then she paged the manager " he said, to the girl's " who booked this ", one said " me", Then he said " we can't take him." !!!2 BAD EXPERIENCES. I'M BOYCOTTING THEM.EVERY PERSON TELL'S 10 PEOPLE, AND DOWN THE PYRAMID IT GOE'S IN THE HAIR CUTTING DEPARTMENT.

I bring my pup-Copper here for grooming regularly and the staff know just how to help him cope while there. He always looks happy and smells amazing when we leave. Much appreciation to groomer Sagan for another amazing job!
