We are in our seventies and have purchased many new cars over the years. We don’t often write online reviews but, given our recent buying experience at Holloway Buick GMC in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, we feel compelled to share it. Our salesperson, Delaney, very patiently answered all our questions. Any information she wasn’t absolutely clear about, she immediately researched and provided concrete answers. She has commanding product knowledge and was intimately familiar with the features of the vehicle we were interested in. When we took delivery of our vehicle, she patiently explained all the electronics and set them up accordingly to our lifestyle needs and preferences. Delaney also made herself available to us after the sale to answer any follow-up questions. We’ve purchased a number of vehicles from this dealership over the years and have never been disappointed in the buying or subsequent service experiences. Poor communication and I felt taken advantage of. The work they performed was unnecessary. It is unfortunate that this was a time sensitive situation where the work needed to be done. Post research confirmed my suspicion that they had taken excessive measures. A lot of money could have been saved on what should have been a simple fix.

This dealership will try to sell you services that you don’t need, over charge for services you want, and threaten that the warranty will become invalid if you don’t buy all the services. I accidentally put 1.7 gallons gas in my friend’s diesel truck to top it off for him. Truck had 12 gallons of diesel already in the tank. I had the truck immediately towed to this dealer to have the tank emptied. They charged $985 to empty the tank and then sold my friend on a gas filter and DEF and exhaust clean system when we clearly stated the the car was not driven. Total cost was $1,391.49. Stay away from this dealer and Boyd Evans in service.

I dropped my car off for a Tuesday appointment and although it was done by Friday, I had to call on the following Tuesday to see what was going on with it. Also, when I looked at the invoice, I noticed one of the issues I had brought it in for was never even addressed.

100/10 !!!! AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! My boyfriend was looking for a car after his was totaled in a storm. He had a vague idea of what he wanted, and we decided to take a look at a Buick " just to see" from the moment I called for the appointment to having the keys in hand Bobby March and Team Holloway were on our side. Mr. Match greeted us at the door and had the car ready to go. He hopped in with us and took us on a "driving course " where we could experience all of the features of the car. In that 15-minute drive, Mr. March advised us of the safety features, fun entertainment features, and everything else. He even demonstrated several of the safety features. Mr. March knew EVERYTHING about this car!! We were in love. Mr. March advised us that while the car we test drove was available, given what he learned from my boyfriend on what was important, he noticed a better version of the car was in transit and would be arriving that week. He encouraged us to think about the car, do research, and call with any questions. There is no pressure to buy or put a deposit down right then. He was clear. He wanted us to be happy with our next car even if it wasn't a Buick. He put the customer first!!! Over the next 2 weeks, while dealing with the insurance on our totaled car, Bobby and Tim ( finance) assured us our car was ours and they would wait with us for delivery. When the day finally came, Tim helped us get insurance at a reasonable rate, had us approved at a reasonable price point, and had an appointment to finalize the sale. The signing process was painless. The car was beautiful, fully gased up, and ready to go. Mr. March and Tim went the extra mile. We felt like the most important customers in the store that day. Team Holloway is amazing!!! Would recommend Bobby March 10000x over !!! I can't say enough besides go see Holloway for your next car!!!! Well done!!!!!

I brought my car in for an oil change and an issue with shaking at acceleration. I was told I needed 4 tires due to tread and one tire had a steel belt break.
Another garage replaced my tires, but said there was no steel belt break, just worn on the inside. 2 tires were at 5/16 and 2 tires were at 6/16.
Even after replacing my tires, the shaking is still an issue. I will NEVER service my car here ever again!
