I love the bookstore! The employees are very friendly and helpful. I recommend the quick reference guides (photo included), especially if you've been out of school for a while or are having trouble with a particular subject. I always grab a couple when I'm there. The prices are great as well.

I am an adjunct instructor at GBCC Rochester's VT course, and am not at all pleased with this bookstore. I placed my order for my classroom text materials in July. Classes start tomorrow. (Aug 30th) Students were instructed, in the syllabus, to read the first 2 chapters and be ready for testing when classes begin this week. So we are already 1 week late. The publisher has the order, and will not ship until the books are paid for. This sounds like a simple fix, but as yet no one has given me any indication that it is being handled, or when the books will be in my students hands. You don't get 5 stars for that kind of non-performance. "no stars" would be better put. This is the second time I have had trouble with my orders.D. Well run small collegiate bookstore. Textbooks easily located, as were school supplies and a nice array of GBCC items.

Very impressed with GBCC. We just moved to the area and my daughter registered and enrolled quick and easy. Everyone has been super professional and eager to assist us. Highly recommend.

If anyone needs prerequisites, just wants to take some classes, or would like to earn a degree, this school has been amazing. I’ve taken 4 courses entirely on line: the professors and the school support staff have gone out of their way to be helpful. The credit hours are reasonably priced and the school is extremely user-friendly. Three of the courses I took required a science lab, and the school has been creative about providing a virtual lab experience. I can’t say enough about how great my experience has been with Great Bay.

I went to GBCC as a Chemistry major. It was unfortunate they make you take a bunch of classes that have NOTHING to do with your major. Talk about wasting thousands of dollars. I’m all set finding a trade that pays more.
