Tried purchasing a bicycle from them after being told in the store, I had to go online and make an order that I could not speak with a tech as he only shows up once a week and is extremely busy I went online did I was told And put in the order I got a call the next day, saying that my bike has been completed to come pick it up. I came to pick up my bike to see that it was falling apart. The side markers were spinning on it. The steering could spin all the way around without moving the tires at all. I showed this to bike tech. He said he was new and did not know how to fix it. He said one guy knows that he doing but only comes once a week. He said he tried his best but has no idea what he is doing. This is dangerous. I returned the bike and will be going by to a store with qualified staff

Great selection of shoes and workout clothing. They always have the gear we need each sports season so we know we can count on leaving with whatever the kids need no matter what the sport. Also love the coupon you get when you return an item - great incentive to stay and shop a bit more!

Patty at DSG in Portsmouth, NH is absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond for customers. Much appreciated her kindness today. Thank you Patty for getting us our coat mailed to us, after it was inadvertently left in your store. Going to the store to pick up was not an option as we live 4 hours away. THANK YOU

Just awful. Backwards, old-fashioned return policy (no receipt, no return... Period!). Expensive. Unfriendly staff. Just awful.

Went in for shoes a few months back. The store was already busy during this time which somewhat makes up for the 20 minute wait time just to get my desired shoe. A nice male worker assisted me with questions and different sizes. He also helped me try and order the right size online (since they don't have them in person). The website wasn't working on the desktop he was using so he said I can order them up front with another worker. Went up front just for the fat lard of a manager to complain that he shouldn't have sent me up front on the walkie talkie. He then told me to leave and just order them on the website because he doesn't want to do it. Maybe HE should leave and get some cardio in while he's at it !

Dick's Sporting Goods, Ashburn, Virginia was an AWFUL employer for me. Ultra - low pay, rude, surly Managers. Impossible demands on staff to keep store ultra-clean, have 100 % product awareness, requirements to answer every customer question with thorough product knowledge and extreme, bend over courtesy. While a lot of the products are quite nice, most of them are foreign made. Women's clothing sizes are ridiculoulsy tiny sizes in most clothing items. Low quality @ high prices. I only worked here (3) three months, I could not take the Managerial rudeness, the high demands to sell, sell, sell, and sell more. People do not have extra, spending abilities with the costs of heat, houisng and food so high in 2023, yet this store and its Manager's are so under pressure to keep costs low and prices super high that thye have lost the real prime directive in this company. Company salaries are appalling for floor staff.

Avoid this Dick’s at all costs. The staff and manager are not helpful. Placed an online order and went to pick it up. They said it wasn’t ready and for me to come back. ? I said okay, well, I’m here, so should I get it myself? I went to get the item myself and cancelled the online order. The employee even went into the back room to see if the item processed and came back to tell me that it wasn’t ready. They could have gotten the item and processed it in that time. Ridiculous.

What a disappointment. Nothing is reflected true in terms of stocks. Totally waste of time. Staff don’t have any knowledge on the goods. Be aware of this store!!

Discriminated based on our age. I assume 20 year olds can not come in and test golf putters without the old guy not giving us help then saying there’s other people who are serious buyers as if we are preventing others from buying even after telling him we were here to buy and he didn’t believe us. Lost a sale to the store.
