Doug is fantastic to work with. Trustworthy and honest. I had work priced out at other places that Doug was about half the cost. I heard about him from a friend, but was skeptical when he gave me an estimate. The craftsmanship was flawless, and he delivered beyond expectation.

I visited Doug after having gone to a few downtown Portsmouth jewelers who either didn't do custom work, or were unable to during the summer months. I found his website online and was happy to go to a local jeweler walking distance from my office. My fiance had bought me a vintage platinum diamond ring that I wanted to make a custom wedding band insert for. I brought Doug a sketch of my ideas and he was happy to do the work. As the process went along I met with him to go over the progress and was able to have a lot of input. The final product was FANTASTIC and was exactly what I had envisioned. We were so thrilled we also had my fiance's wedding band done as well to match mine. He did the work quickly, with very fair prices and was able to meet whenever. He does fabulous platinumsmith work and I would definitely return.
