Clothes shop with blouses, scarves, and dresses from S to XL. Very high mark-up and aggressive sales staff.EDIT: I left this review when I was a bit salty about something I learned relevant to hiring practices. The store itself is probably fine for shopping, so long as you're petite.

Clay's has some great brands of clothes and accessories for women, such as Tango Mango, Habitat, and Fresh Produce. Prices reflect the quality and aren't outlandish. Their storefront is always beautifully decorated, especially during the holidays, and the gingerbread house was pretty enticing (see photo).

Clay's is a beautiful woman's clothing boutique! As you walk in the door you're greeted with amazing colorful clothing! I ended getting 7 beautiful tops! I could have bought the store out if I had the $$$! I'll be back in the fall for sure!

Clay’s is a New England-based women's clothing boutique that bills itself as selling comfortable clothing. Everything I saw in the store was very different from the standard clothing items and styles one sees in the department stores. The brands are non-mainstream. Brands included Habitat Clothes to Live In, Clara Sun Woo, K Collection, FLAX, Focus, Liv, and F.H. Clothing Co.to name a few. From the sale rack, I selected a Liv by Habitat Clothes dressy knit top in a shade of burgundy that the manufacturer called Plum. Originally $69.90, it was $34.99 on its third markdown. The rayon-polyester blend fabric was very soft and smooth against the skin; so, comfortable it was. It was an off-season purchase; so, I’m anxious for the fall season to arrive so I can begin wearing it regularly. During my visit, I found that it was worth a few extra dollars to get a piece of clothing that was stylish and non-irritating to the skin. For its different approach to marketing women’s clothes and carrying distinctive styles in fabrics that are comfortable and especially comforting to sensitive skin, I rate Clay’s at 5.0 and highly recommend a visit. Today was my first visit. Pam gave excellent customer service. She showed me which pieces would fit me best and gave detailed information about the fabric content and the quality of the pieces. The selection of clothing at Clay's is fabulous! The sales people are always polite and helpful. I go a few times a year, and buy a nice top. I was just there last night, the lady who waited on me didn't hurry me even though they were closing soon. I bought a nice button down top, wore it to work today and got lots of compliments. Thanks, Clay's!

My son gives me a gift certificate to Clay's every Christmas and some of my best items of clothing come from this boutique. I love the atmosphere, staff, and clothing and accessory selection.
