I just read your callous reply to my original review. So let me get this straight ... I was supposed to schedule my dog's death in advance so that it would be more convenient for you?? I know for a fact that you offer euthanasia services. Your lazy receptionist confirmed that much. My apologies that my magic 8 crystal ball was malfunctioning, and I couldn't give you a week's advance notice. It's no wonder why your staff is the way they are ... you set the tone and your care less attitude is in full display with these idiotic excuses. You would've been better served to simply stay silent and not reply. Funny how it's 4:30 today but you found the time to attend to your social media accounts to try to save face for the disgraceful display of animal abuse perpetrated by your uncaring staff on Monday. In the amount of time it took them to close the door in my face so they could come up with a reason to turn me away, they could've administered shots to a dozen animals. Instead, they chose to sentence my poor boy to a painful death. He cried in pain all the way to your office and was now subjected to crying out in pain all the way back home. He wouldn't die until 1AM ... THAT'S A FULL 8 HOURS OF NEEDLESS SUFFERING... ALL of those additional hours of agony are on all of you! How would you feel right now if someone did this to you after being a loyal customer for years?? I didn't ask to be seen, I didn't need an appointment, my only request was to put him to sleep and a blind person could tell he was dying. So don't even go there with your lame excuses that your one Vet didn't have the time to do it. They did ... but they didn't WANT to. You literally only had one client in your waiting room. I guess Chico was no longer of value to your establishment now that he wasn't going to be having anymore acupuncture treatments, so he was easy to turn away when he needed your help the most. That's what our pets are to you ... a dollar amount and nothing more. You guys took an Oath to do no harm and set yourself up as an animal practitioner in your community. Now you want to shrink and shirk your responsibilities with l ludicrous excuses. You should change your name to Heartless Veterinary Care ... it would be far more Accurate.

We were on vacation and my fur baby needed a quick but uncomfortable procedure immediately. The Dr was very accommodating and very kind. Even the cost was reasonable, especially considering my pup was not a regular patient. I would absolutely recommend this business.

I highly recommend bringing your beloved pets to Holistic Veterinary Care! Dr. Lamb has a passion , (not often seen in todays vet practices) for healing your pet from the inside out by getting to the core/root of their problems, and also realizing each dog is different and needs different treatments. She listens and truly cares. She is compassionate with a kind, caring, gentle hand when dealing with pets and people. I bring my 4 dogs to her. It’s about 1hr 40 min each way but worth the drive. I can’t say enough good things about what she has done for my dogs. One had significant digestive issues and after talking with her about what I was feeding, I decided to try some of the frozen raw dog food she sells, in a short period of time the digestive issues were gone!I have to mention the Bicom , which is a magical device that does so much in the realm of healing the body, mind and soul….. but it can’t do it without the expertise of the practitioner. Thanks for all you do for my fur babies!Highly recommend this practice. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

My dogs have had 2 visits here so far and I'm very pleased with the services.Dr. Lamb and Dr. Steffi are knowledgeable and informative in the field of holistic care. They are personable and answered all my questions. The receptionist is friendly and helpful.The facility is clean and inviting. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for holistic care for their pets. Prices are reasonable.

3 years ago Dr Lamb took care of my little lamb, Colby a Bichon. I wrote a wonderful and honest review about her and I clicked on the Stars not knowing it came up with only two when I posted! My sincerest apologies! If there was the ability to post more than five stars I would have done so. When I get another Bichon I will certainly see her she's the best in her field!

Had the best experience here today with my Terrier Norman who can be very temperamental. The new Vet here was simply fantastic and accommodating. She listened intently and had such a sweet demeanor that even my uptight pup was very much at ease. She was extremely knowledgeable and was well versed in Holistic canine care. I was so impressed with the level of service that I just made a second appointment for my other 2 dogs. This office is a true gem in the Lakes Region.

Dr Kim is so kind and caring . Her office is more of a "at home feeling ,"which in turn makes both myself and the dogs feel at ease while there . My mastiffs do so much better in her office !Highly recommend !

Not a Vet for routine vaccine shots, spaying/neutering, or other surgeries. We didn't realize this when we brought in a new kitten. Had to find another Vet (went to Northern Lakes in Ashland) for the more standard needs. I think Dr Lamb's holistic care offered is more like non-standard/alternative pet therapy and nutritional consultation. So not a complaint, but an awareness that she isn't the one to go to for a new pets routine medical shots/surgeries/prescriptions.

My dog and I Visited Holistic Veterinary Care for the first time today. We have been using a different vet clinic for 7 years, they could not accommodate us in for something that he needed to get in for right away. When I called HVC they first told me they were booked and couldn’t see me same day. I asked for some advice on the situation and Dr Kim got on the phone and had me come in right away, even though she had other obligations that day. She was kind, informative, and gave me some answers to questions I had been asking for years. Previously I was told there was no solution to the problem and we just had to live with it. We will certainly be back to Holistic Veterinary Care and I cannot see myself ever returning to the other clinic. HVC Thank you for treating us with kindness and compassion today.

My chihuahua has recently join Dr Kim's Fan Club. Gidget is an older dog and she picked up on symptom my previous vet did not catch in the last 12 years!! She is caring and very informative. So happy I switched to Holistic Care for my chi's!

Dr. Kim Lamb is really great. Her nutritional supplements, whole food advice and treatments work wonders. She has helped my 14 year old Dachshund with acupuncture and chiropractic treatments. From stiff and in pain to happy and mobile. Rilo and I are so grateful. Jillian is really wonderful too. Thank you!
