Horrible company. They said they won’t cash a check drawn from there bank unless you have an account. What is this world coming to another crooked bank!!

I’ve got to say working with banks these days doesn’t make our lives easier. It is the opposite. With regards to Santander. It seems I am always calling their business services or branch manager to resolve an issue brought on by their bank. There is always an excuse. They put holds on my account locking it up for days and weeks. Just for deposits. Or writing a check. I never over draft. It’s them creating the disruption. They hold funds for 5 days on clearing checks. Checks should be cleared within 2 business days regardless.

Waited in a drive-thru line 27 minutes with only one car ahead. I thought the person in front of me was done after 27 minutes but in fact just they gave their transaction to the teller at that point.I normally don't seek out a way to review publicly but this was just a bit too crazy to ignore.

Just a tip. If you are looking for their atm late night, it's hard to find. There's a Walmart and Home Depot (I believe) that I pulled over at to look up a map. Luckily a (cute) police officer stopped and explained to me that I needed to go further past Home Depot and when you're at Bed Bath & Beyond, it's almost straight across the parking lot. He was doing his rounds and was heading there and offered for me to follow. I wouldn't have found it, being not from the area.

No stars ideally. Santander severely limits wire transfer amounts, supposedly in our best interest but in reality they make it very difficult to securely move money out of their bank. Also, they make husband and wife use different pin numbers on the exact same account, and they force you to have one pin number for web access and a different pin number for telephone access (e.g. password resets,) Finally, for at least 10 years, they put monthly statements into the US Mail for FREE. Now they charge us for paper reports! In short, Santander is messy, they nickel-and-dime you to death, and they are hard-to-do-business with. AVOID SANTANDER!!
