Cute lil store with a great deli. Great sandwiches fresh made or plenty to enjoy pre-made salads and burritos and egg rolls and daily things in a hot case like pizza or burgers and much more! Can call ahead to order as well. Plenty of beverages and snacks. Gas and diesel. Ice and propane as well I believe.

Way over priced breakfast sandwiches!! 5 bucks for cheese sausage and egg on a burnt dry english muffin is atrocious!!! On top of being very dry and bland ?

Super friendly, best dip price I've found anywhere near here, owner even ordered me extra because I was leaving the area on a short trip and knew the price there. Anything you could want to drink or snack on, and then some, even homemade.This is more than a normal quicky-mart where sandwiches are premade or packaged, if you speak clearly and not a hundred miles an hour you get exactly what you want; a fresh sandwich with not soggy lettuce and slimy tomatoes like a normal quicky-mart. Sandwich not your thing? How about fresh desert like pudding, potato salad, or take home egg rolls? To go or sit in their tidy clean eating area, I've never had bad service or product from this owner. They're not from here though, so people can be judgy and nostalgic for previous owners, who never smiled at me, not once.

Yes we went in and here”s what we found…New owners. Delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients…. Homemade rye bread. Hidden gem. Hubbie was impressed by the gas prices.

The sandwiches are OK I ordered ham turkey and roast beef I didn't get ham on it I ordered turkey and bacon for my husband he said it was just ok had better for a quick stop it OK but if you want something to brag about go somewhere else

Quality of food has reduced greatly since Anne owned the store. Ordered a Smokin’ Green (a knock off of Anne’s Smokin’Jim). Very disappointing. The sandwich was very dry and lacked the turkey, cheese, and pickles that Anne always piled high. Overpriced as well ☹️. The place doesn’t feel very homey any more either ?

I went here to get gas and I was asked to leave. I already had my card in and I pressed exit and for some reason it didn’t work. I got home and 2 hours later I get a notification that someone spent $80 at this place on my card. I thought it was closed... Not happy.

Freshly homemade food that is absolutely delicious! Friendly people and wonderful owners - Kurt & Elaine! Lots of variety within the store from Unique Photographs, Wines, Local Cheeses, Meats, Gourmet Foods, Snacks, Drinks, etc.! Plainfield Country Store has it all!! You must go visit and see for yourself what the rave is all about!! You won't be disappointed!

I liked this place a lot better when Anne ran it. The employees that you inherited are great thanks to Anne. But you and Kurt run your business like you live in a big city where the individuals don't matter.
