W Rd, Temple“They do an annual Haunted Woods walk to support a local food bank. You can get in for a non perishable food donation (Or a cash donation). It's a good time in support of a good cause! All the donations gathered go right to the charity. Check it out this coming Saturday evening (10/26/2019) from 7 to 9pm.”
“Went in to buy a stock tank and some pine shavings. The place was quite busy and crowded. I couldn't find what I was looking for, but a nice employee popped out of nowhere and volunteered to help me. He helped me to find the 110 gallon stock tank I wanted outside, noticed that it was really too big to balance safely in the shopping cart, so he whisked around me and got me one of the "flatbed" carts, and he returned the shopping cart for me. He asked me if I needed anything else (yes, the baled shavings) -- he told me where they were, and then asked me if I needed any help getting my purchases into my vehicle (I didn't). I don't think I look helpless or particularly old and decrepit --- I think he was just being genuinely helpful and friendly. The cashier was the same way. Well done all around.”
“Gracie's Grain is where we order all our farm food and hay from. The owner at times is very direct but she is AWESOME! The service is second to none and she always has everything ready. I would recommend her for all your pet and farm animals needs. She is a sole-proprietor as we are here at Oxbow Farm, and it is nice to support a local person and a female owned business - Jim Graham, Oxbow Farm, Dublin”
