I do love this small market. You can buy bulk items like grains and spices. And their neat and seafood is excellent. But I find their prepared foods to be hit or miss. I just got home with a medium sized soup for $7.99 - vegetarian chili soup - and it is very spicy and we won’t be eating it. I just called them up to see if I could get a refund or credit and I was told “NO, as taste is very subjective.”. Very disappointing that their customer service is lacking for a small neiighborhood market. Of course taste is subjective. Shame on them. Any other market would gladly provide a refund in order to keep a happy customer.

Definitely five stars. This is the best grocery store in New Hampshire, I am convinced. They are extremely socially responsible and environmentally friendly, and the only grocery store I've found in NH that uses compostable bags for produce. They have a ton of organic fruit and veggie options, including frozen and canned goods. They have a great selection of cereals and snacks, including options for kids. The folks who work here are extremely friendly and helpful. You will pay a pretty penny for everything, but if you have the budget, it's worth it for the healthy food options.

I love this place! Great selection of supplements. Lots of hippie food. High quality meats and fish. Delicious selection of prepared food and a patio with a river view to eat it on. Just watch out for the poison ivy creeping in.

Have been here in the past, it smelled funny. I decided to stop in while traveling to look for lunch and grab black bean burgers which they had for mothers day BBQ with family in VT. I still think it smells funny ?. What a slice of heaven for food. It was hard deciding for lunch so many yummy options ( I bought 3 different things as I couldn't resist). Drink selection was limited, I bought a just tea and it was just perfect. Their produce is so lovely I had to get some. Love vegetarian and gluten free options. Shopping here made my day better, thank you. Staff was pleasant. Would recommend.

We've been using the Nature's, Green Grocer drive up and go service for several months now and we love it. It could not be more convenient. The store staff is friendly and they make helpful suggestions for things that we might be interested in. They make it easy to avoid plastic by selling milk in glass jars and shampoo and conditioner in bar form. They also sell many things in bulk so we can bring our own containers and avoid excessive waste.

Love the store - nicest people - amazing array of items and the prepared foods always great - best sushi in the area and lovely seating outside to eat and contemplate the babbling brook.

This place is an absolute GEM and blessing. We drive over an hour to come visit on average once a month. The baked goods are unmatched. We travel to go to organic restaurants and cafes around new England, and I can confirm there is NO where else to get a sustainable, organic croissant, especially not one that tastes like that. We are considering moving to the area, and I can tell you for certain it wouldn't even be a thought if Nature's Green Grocer wasn't there to provide the community with such abundant, clean, amazing food. Thank you so much for being here, we need you!

Such a cute and well stocked store. I have not been here in person as I have been recovering from a toxic chemical exposure and can't go out much, but my husband has been bringing me back great things to try to improve my health.

Cute little market! Products are definitely overpriced, but they do have sales on many items, just look for the tag. I enjoyed walking around the whole store as I'm always looking for new, healthy products. There are many local brands which I love supporting too!! As far as the cafe, everything was so tasty and super fresh!!!! It's a self service bar, which may change every week, but we got some coleslaw, kale salad, and potato salad. I also ordered a green juice which tasted super fresh as well; they definitely had the freshest fruits/veggies blended in. We sat outside right by a stream and the sounds of nature! Most relaxing lunch I've ever had!

It’s so nice to be able to shop without having to worry about what’s in the food. They definitely have everyone’s health in mind when selecting the food they sell. My favorite place to shop!

I don't get to Peterbough very often, but when I do I visit the Green Grocer. I make it a point to get lunch here if my schedule allows. The other day they had a bar a delicious food to choose from and pre made sandwiches. The last time I was here they made me a very yummy fresh sandwich, when I asked they said that is a summer service. The green Grocer reminds me of one of my favorite stores in concord, the Granite State Naturals, but the Green grocer has a larger selection of organic and natural products. So I also like to combine my lunch visit with something yummy to try that maybe I can't find local. Dried organic mangos with no sugar added was my new item for this visit, such a delicious treat to eat. They also have regular snack items I can stock up on too.I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat or for some Grocery items.

Beautiful community cornerstone! This is a small, locally owned place with incredible variety and selection, highest quality, and friendly service. It is always a fun outing to shop there. Very helpful.

It's overpriced and food is just ok. Pastries are great! There's a variety of organic and green products. They carry a lot of items that I personally wouldn't buy. There are occasional sale items that are usually good deals. Vegetables aren't always freshest. Typically cheaper in supermarkets even for the same items. I enjoy the outdoor seating to overlook the stream. I think wifi is available.

This place has it all hands down best turkey clubs ever with a gorgeous patio and of course the whole market to choose organic food from. Seriously what else could you ask for and if you haven’t been there definitely worth checking out.

One of my favorite drives to get some cool, harder to find quality, and oftentimes local, inspiring groceries. Think: mini Whole Foods without the man buns and yoga moms.
