LRHS helped make the magic happen at our home this Christmas. This little girl has stolen our hearts. Katy-thank you for answering all of my questions and being so patient with me (first time cat owner). She LOVES to be with her people...and might be part parrot...she loves to sit on our shoulders. After waiting… I get my wish. Wanted a long hair gray kitten. LRHS called, i took first available appointment and fell in love with this little boy. He loves to snuggle.
LRHS has been providing a safe and compassionate shelter for lost, neglected or unwanted cats and dogs since 1995. Originally located in Tuftonboro, NH, LRHS relocated to Ossipee, NH in 2005.
Our mission is to care for cats and dogs in need until they can be adopted, and to promote their health and welfare through community outreach and education.
