Thomson Tree Service completed extensive cleanup from winter storm damage behind my home. There were a number of trees down or leaning and a lot of debris. I felt comfortable with the cost as I had received two estimates and the quotes were very close. The company is easy to work with, show up when expected, complete the job on time and are respectful of your property. I chose Thomson because they have a mini-excavator (and a very experienced operator) which was needed for my project. I was pleased with the work done, would highly recommend them, and would hire them again.

We had 3 piles left behind from clearing our lot. 2 piles of old logs, 1 pile of branches and debris. The associate came out took pics and estimated it would take 2 1/2 to 3 truck loads to take it all away. We agreed on 2 truck loads as it was all we could afford. After the 2 truck loads, they didn’t even take away 1 full pile! Either the guy severely underestimated how many loads it would take, or the truck driver didn’t fill the truck. It was not cheap to have them do the 2 loads, and not we’re stuck having to deal with the rest of the 1 pile, and still the other 2!Services: Tree stump removal

We have used Thomson Tree Service three times for tree-related issues. The first time, they took down and removed 44 mostly white pines and red pines adjacent to our house. All tree removal was completed in one day along with 80% of the cleanup. The remainder was removed early the next morning. Timely, very competitive price. The job was very well managed by Stacy Thomson, efficiently and safely performed and tidely completed. Both we and our neighbors (who joined with us and contributed trees along our mutual property lines to the overall job) were extremely satisfied. Since then, Thomson has returned to grind a huge stump that was in the way of a garden and, most recently, to remove more neighboring trees plus one of ours. This job was not as huge as the first, but was more difficult in some ways because of proximity to the neighboring house. The new, long reach equipment removes a lot of the difficulty and danger inherent in removal of big trees that tower above a nearby houses. Our satisfaction was identical to that after the first job.
