The owner is a true scum bag, do not trust this, less than a man one bit. He is all about taking advantage of people especially women.

Brought my 2002 S2000 in for an AP2 valve retainer upgrade. The people at Racetek are extremely knowledge about the S2000 and answered every question/concern I had. I dealt with Rick and Jerene, both were very kind and helpful through the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my car back to them if I need any other work done. They seem to be a very busy shop, so just keep that in mind.

Ricky does great work. They can do a lot of custom work and use parts provided. Of course you get what you pay for. Call them ahead of time and plan your job though as sometimes they are booked out atleast 3 weeks to a month.

I brought my 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STI in for a tune. The entire team was very knowledgeable. I am very pleased with the way my tune came out and the overall experience I had while doing business with Racetek. I look forward to doing business again with them in the future for my next tune.Service: Auto engine tuning

Hands-down one of the best shops I’ve ever been to for maintenance/performance upgrades. Rick and his crew got my Toyota FJ Cruiser running amazing with a new clutch! Very timely, very efficient, always kept me up-to-date as well and made recommendations that I did as well with him. Super happy and thank you!Services: Exhaust

Rick was a pleasure to deal with, he smoothed the tune out on my 1000whp Corvette, after a few failed attempts at other shops (car would not drive smooth under partial throttle) Rick took it in and smoothed the tune out, you would never know that car makes the power it does it drives excellent!

Took my car there twice for a hondata ecu reflash and made the car feel so much better, had a issue with some accidental damage to my car but was rectified by the manager Rick. Came good on it and would not hesitate to recommend this place now. Thanks again!

I choose to use this company due to their amount of positive reviews, I read a lot of people were very pleased with the service they received, and I’m sure those reviews were legitimate and this company has most likely done a very good job for a lot of people. I however am not so lucky. I went in and talked to Rick after installing a cam in my gm 5.3. He said he could tune the car so I set up my appointment, payed 135.00 for pre inspection, 150.00 for licensing fees, and 490.00 for time to tune. A total of 775.00. I dropped the car off to him for the pre inspection he said it was all set to put on the dyno, he then ran it on the dyno, made his adjustments and called to let me know it was all set. I picked up the car and noticed a couple issues. It would surge about 400rpm while in park or neutral, had a blinking check engine light, and would stall intermittently when coming to a stop. I called him and explained this, he explained the o2 sensors were acting as if they were going bad, and my exhaust was not routed out far enough from the vehicle causing fumes in side the cabin, Rick asked me to solve these issues and bring the car back, I replaced the o2 sensors and extended the exhaust and dropped the car off. About a week went by and I had not heard from him, it was difficult to get in touch with him due to him loosing the receptionist. When I finally got in touch with him he explained he was working on the car here and there, I told him take his time (my mistake), after him having the car for 20 days I had enough and had a friend pick up the car. The car now is worse than ever and un drivable, it stalls every time you let off the throttle and still surges and has the same check engine light issue. I called Rick and asked him to refund my money minus the fee for licensing because I didn’t think he should have to loose money on material. He refused to refund any money but did offer to let me take the car back, I am now out 775.00 and will need to find another shop that is more familiar with gm vehicles.Service: Tuning

My brother used these guys, and what should have been a simple tune on the dyno turned into a NIGHTMARE. He paid extra to have it pre inspected so that it would be simple to tune without having to go through anymore trouble. Somehow, after the guy tuned it, the 5.3 ran worse then when he dropped it off. Apparently, due to a bad o2 sensor (which should have been caught during the $135 pre inspection) caused the car to be un-tuneable. He also blamed fumes from the cut exhaust (which was only shortened a few inches to be flush with the rear bumper) for being unable to sit in the cabin of the car. I assume he has a vent or exhaust system for that and is just reaching for excuses. Over all, he has had the car in his physical position for over a month and was unable to preform a basic tune on the car. He's now refusing any refund. My brother now has a car that wont even idle at red light and is out $775.
